Your hands don't move? Like are you having range issues, or is your fighter not attempting clinch.

You can't have your finger on the left stick while doing it. You have to JUST have your fingers on the command. Nowhere else.

I'll try this tommorow. Cut it off for the day it got so fustrating.

My fighter isn't even attempting the clinch.

You have to be super close and be aware that an uppercut will knock your head off,
Much difficult then last Game

Roster fighters won't have all these, but here are the different clinch entries.

Just remember you have to be stopped when you attempt the clinch. If you have your finger on the left stick moving any direction, it won't input. Does it leave you open for a split second to get decapitated? Yup. But it is what it is.

One thing is knowing which buttons to press, the other is to actually pull it off without getting rocked or knocked out. The AI is crazy good at denying attempts and it's hard enough already to find the right moment to even get an attempt.

I hope they patch this to make it smoother.
