Sign here if you want a "Random fighter" option during fighter selection. This in my mind adds another fun, entertaining dimension to the game, and also adds imo extra longevity to the game.
I appologize if devs have already talked about this, but everytime I see this being brought up, everyone pretty much wants it, yet its never added. I also fully understand that there's probably more a few more pressing matters being fixed at the moment. But in my non programmer mind, I feel adding a random fighter algorithm wouldn´t take a massive ammount of work, compared to how much people are going to enjoy it.
Further suggestions:
"Quick match Random"
"Online ranked Random"
I obviously understand if people playing ranked wouldn´t want to use a random fighter (maybe people would) and since you cant tell who people are chosing, would you dare chosing random? But non ranked fights, when you can see, you could just hover over "random" and see if the other person does the same.
The other solution, but probably harder to implement is a "quick match random" button, where you get matched up with other people who also chose the same thing.
Ranked random would be awesome imo and exciting.
