The problem with that is online. Right now the game has sliders so offline players can get stamina and damage to realistic levels. I'll take sliders over an off/on mode any day.

Online, I've heard pushback from people who say this will split the user base to people who say that they dont want that on ranked.

Re: I hope a lesson can be learned here

Man this thread brings my piss to a ****in’ boil. This is what I mean when dudes with no investment in the game start coming out of the woodwork to **** on a product they know nothing about. Everyone remember Gothzilla? He was definitely here during the pre beta stages. Or who could forget sportsfanrandomnumbers?

Seriously, these dudes are literally saying devs don’t deserve empathy because they made a game they don’t like. In my opinion the mods need to take a stand here. There’s no way you could do it without people crying “censorship!” as if OS is the US government, but *** **** this place needs a good spring cleaning.

There is nothing wrong with pointing out legitimate criticism‘s but if you can’t do that in a respectful manner you do not deserve to be here. Seriously, the next person that insinuates aholbert is a shill needs to be immediately banned. That is such a copout statement and provides nothing to the conversation.

The energy of the board has totally switched from that of before the beta. We have people making mountains out of mole hills claiming that their pet gripe is the most game breaking bug that the devs need to attend to right at this moment.

I know you guys don’t like hearing this, but truly truly truly many of you simply do not know how to play the game well enough to be making any criticisms. I’m sure that guy that thought him repeatedly getting his leg checked was game breaking sincerely thought he was in the right. Most of you aren’t that ignorant, but have similar opinions based off incomplete information.

As for legitimate criticism, I actually agree with Haz about the rock em sock em brawling nature of the head movement, but I’m not resigned to the “woe is me” this game is forever ruined attitude just because it’s different from UFC 2. The hard combos are greatly misrepresented as a major problem.

I don't remember either of those users, lol. After the first patch things will calm down. It's just more common to post issues than praise threads, and some praise threads even get locked. Of course it's gonna look negative.

          I wonder.

Ive heard some GREAT things about the first patch. Not sure all of the things will get done but im happy with what I've heard. I think it will shine a light on the people who are complaining about legitimate issues and the folks who have an agenda and who are here just to troll.

I have 2 accounts in the top 40 on Xbox with higher than an 80% win rate. The game has been out for what? 2 weeks? And you expect the meta to completely unfold to the highest level in that time?

The guy would leg kick as I ducked or slipped coming forward causing a stun, keeping me away. He would block and punish on the recovery of my strikes. This guy certainly spent some time working on this style.

Sorry for sounding like an *** haha

That sounds like a lot more than just jabbing making him successful tho

The games always get better, I've been saying it forever. It just pisses me off the games don't release as good as the final patched version. That hurts reviews, turns off players that will stop playing and never experienced the final patched version.

It's funny that before ufc 3 dropped I read concerns about ufc 2 features and things they didn't like that had been patched out long ago.

(I'm not for real pissed off)

What sucks is that if they released a month later many of the issues people are complaining about wouldve been fixed. With that said, there are some issues they wouldve never found without the community playing it.

All they had to do was give me a copy a month early. (Or maybe some people more qualified than me, if that's possible)

The beta was good but I think a demo A month before release would have really brought to light some of these issues..

Creating a demo wouldve taken away time for fix issues before release.

the game needed 2 run ins 1st a beta then a demo so at release most of the problems are ironed out. Right now it feels like we are still in beta with the constant changes.

Dont know. With UFC 2, they dropped patches every 30-40 days.

All i can say is this......ea has done a hell of a job overall. Gpd hasnt abandon us and he deserves respect. I dont know any dev that has went this hard for us in any ufc game. In terms of striking it took the best of every mma ever made combined it and created something specail. Yea it has its minor bugs but you can see his dedication on fixing these things. I may want what i want but i also appriceate what jas been done. If somehow they impliment movement in the clinch and add a couple more moves in a patch, this game will be undeniably king in terms of gameplay! Gpd thank you for not abandoning the hardcore gamers!
