    Timed block

I think a well timed block should create a very small counter window might help
    slow down combos

yes like fight night but even less then FN say he throws jab hook and i block the hook good then i get a small window 2 jab or move my head something small. say he continue the jab hook with another hook and i block that hook perfect then id get a real nice counter.

NO NO NO !!! NO PARRY DELAY PLEASE , THAT WAS THE WORSE THING EVER FOR FIGHT NIGHT.

It's not realism or fun, hated that delay parry that would happen. Then you got everybody just using that tactic .

Love everything about UFC 3 , don't change it

            Re: Timed block

Timed block=strong block. Hug block and strikes can slip through.

I don't know about parries. They shouldn't have counter window. Issue for me is with hard combos good hooks and straight strikes come so fast. If you can only parry straight strikes people will get lit up by all the hooks- straight variety in hard combos.

so gettin two perfect blocks in a row shouldn't give even the smallest opening to counter with a check hook? mayb get backwards dash 2 create space nothin i should just hold block read there hooks and knee them in body over and over? it would stop combo spamming dead. the games great how it is just want more options

I think the idea is good.

Why is it that people are OK with leg catches but not parries? I get that parries were abused before, but seriously. You don't just totally remove something because it got abused online. For me, this is a HUGE detractor in my career. I legit feel like the AI should be able to parry me from time to time. Especially with fighters like Silva, who parry aggressively.

and for the record yes, I think a perfectly timed block in succession would be a perfect opportunity to re implement the animation.

                    Re: Timed block

Blocking already slow combos down. It's enough to give you time to slip the next strike.

Timing blocks only makes a difference for catching body kicks.

Also, if you time a low block against a leg kick, it will work to reduce teh damage, but you won't check it. So, against leg kicks, blocking early is actually better.
