@gamechangers Its a real issue when you cant edit the skull and forhead... I will try to use a preset fighter next time, before I put the real game-face in. That idea came to me right at the end of deivesons CAF. But Im working on the full UFC 248 card Sim, so we'll find out soon.

If anyone else wants to try that method let me know how it worked.

Did this work and would it work with existing real fighters?

One thing I'm noticing is that a lot of these stats seem pretty underwhelming, but perhaps that's due to me comparing them to the UFC 3 ones. Then again, they are underwhelming or downright bad even if I compare them to a game like FIFA where an 85 in anything isn't really bad. I know Randleman and Hominick certainly weren't flawless, especially Hominick, but I'm seeing a lot of 70s too. Are those not prime Randleman stats?

I'm asking because I didn't really catch Randleman in his heyday, to be fair I haven't seen most of PRIDE in general, but he was a UFC champion and one of the most notable fighters of his time. So I'm surprised to see those low numbers in pretty much every area.

I also believe watching fights is the best way to gauge someone's ability, doing that for yourself, I mean. So I checked out his fights vs. Fedor, his Cro Cop fight where he KOd him and watched the first half of his Ninja fight. So I'll probably do my own estimations too. By the way, I did that for Cory Sandhagen, it's in the Stats thread, you can check those out if you haven't already. Maybe make a CAF of him too if you're interested in that as well.

Yuke’s had a different ethos. They weren’t afraid to give a wrestler 60 kick offence or submission offence if they weren’t very proficient or effective with them. They used a lot more of the stat range. Bob Sapp has absolutely awful submission defence (50). Prime Cro Cop has 55 submission offence (which makes sense since he was almost a pure kickboxer, especially early in his career). Almost every fighter felt realistically varied and unique.

EA never go below 80 and thus everyone feels like slightly worse/slower clones than the champ. Doesn’t help that almost every fighter has the same striking animations sans jabs/straights.
