Just fought against a grappler in UT. This person, I've beaten a few times. However this last time, after the first round the game began to lag really, really bad. I could not stuff a takedown given the lag and was basically held down in full guard. I don't think this was ever resolved in UFC 2. Can we expect more of this crap going forward?

Lag switching has not and will never be able to be implemented in fighting games like this.
You can't just use that term as a catch-all for lag based problems. Lag switching is a very specific type of exploit that takes advantage of bad netcode. -

Have mercy on the souls of the people playing UT. It's just who can exploit their BS first lol. It was when I played it closer to release anyway. Skill isn't that much of a factor.Comment

yh i fought him aswell i couldnt stop his tds at all, he took me down at will and his tds stats were only in the 80s. I knew they was coming but he took me down and it did seem to lagg at vital times. he just layed on me for a decision after.Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/user/im2good4u1

I faced a laggy khabib once where I was stuffing all his takedowns. Then one of his attempts, the frames skipped from him standing to holding my legs LOL. He wasn't an intentional lagger though, but still unfortunateComment

I came across one person yesterday, where the game was lag free but every time he would lock in a sub it got laggy to the point my controls were unresponsive, luckily my sub d is great. I get out the sub the game is back to normal. He went for like 5 subs and evertime he did, this happenes.And he's taunting the whole fight so it was no coincidence.Comment

Sometimes the connection is reeeally weird. There are people coming into the fight from middle of octagon over and over and i cant deny a freaking power takedown also.
Two guys i was so so sure, they would lag onporpose because they get you with every power takedown on ground and then it starts to lag.

Now that im checking the record of the first two guys they are in the top30.

There’s a few Top 100 players on the leaderboard for PS4 who know how to disconnect from a ranked fight and not get a loss and you don’t get a win.
Hopefully this will get fixed before more ppl figure it out.Comment

I was actually accused of lag switching yesterday never even heard of the term till then, on my end it didn’t lag at all but my opponent felt the need to say I’m a bum for lag switching I’m kinda lost on how that goes I know I do need new WiFi because mine isn’t the best but I would like to know more info on this. Seems like people just want a find ANY way to get a single winComment
