Can someone please explain to me the ranked point system?

there is no description this year like ea ufc2.
how many point earn when i won, how many point loss when i lost?
What sets the standard for how many earn or loss or penalty?
is there no bonus point for all weights selection?

I have played almost 150 fights on ranked since released date but i still don't understand about that. any tips? thank you.

Anyone???????? I would love to hear the story on this one....lol. This system is totally erratic. No bonus for featured fighters? I would like to see a breakdown of the point allocation.

It is a measure of skill level. Generally, players only win points by "stealing" them from one another. So, you losses count a lot an you can't just keep playing to place high on the leaderboards.

Beating players of a higher skill level gives you more points.

Fighting with a lower rated fighter gives you more points.

Finishing the fights gives you more points.

And vice-versa to this stuff ^ like, if you lose to a guy at a higher skill level, you lose fewer points.

Are you sure using lower rated fighters gives you more points? What if you lose to a Conor player using a low rated fighter? Don't you still lose a lot of points.

yup, you get ganked hard for losing. Lost a decision to MM as ortiz and i lost 12 points.

I think you lose less.

The opponent probably had a considerably lower leaderboard score than you. It happens to me, too.

It's a shambles. There is next to no incentive to use lower rates guys when you lose massive amounts of you take a defeat

In a ranked fight I (de Randamine) was facing Cyborg. I am ranked in the top 150 in the world and I am sure the person I fought was well below me. However, after a dominate win via KO I received 2....yes...2 points. We have no control over who we are matched up against. So, why are we penalized for that match up, when it comes to the point allocation? It doesn't really make much sense.

We should have:

• Set amount of points for each win
• Set amount of points deducted for each loss
• Extra points for using "Featured Fighters"
• Extra points for each consecutive win (example: 2W=2P, etc)
• Extra points deducted for consecutive losses (Example 2L =2P, etc)

And if they really wanted to configure in point increases or decreases based upon the rank of the fighter and player, they should show us an over/under on the "Tale of the Tape" intro. That way, we can see what extra we have to gain or lose. That could really change the quality of the fights.

At the end of the day, the consumer plays ranked to move up the leaderboards. They also should have an understanding of how to do that. I feel the intentions were there to keep it creative, but it was poorly executed.

DNFs need to stop taking away 30 ****ing points every time. It’s ****ing insane. I’ve never once DNFed on a legit loss but even if someone does, who cares? You still get your points and your win. Four times over the course of the game so far, I’ve encountered a freeze glitch at the start of the match that boots you to the dashboard. You lose 30 points no matter what every time. That’s ridiculous. That’s enough to drop you out of the top 25.

The DNF penalty might indeed be doing more harm than good. I dont even have many fights, yet, but had one DNF for lost connection to EA servers (when my actual connection didn't drop) and those 30 points really hurt.

Maybe the penalty should be decreased in a flat manner, or made it so it's a scaling thing, as a way to try to better identify who is quitting on purpose (kinda like the quitting time penalties in MOBAs).

They need to fix this asap and also need to add way more stats to the leaderboards like in ea ufc 2 or i think ranked in this game will become stale very fast also the 100% need to fix getting a loss if the game freezes and or you get disconnected for no reason.

This game does actually need a lot more work and its starting to become more apparent by the day from what im reading.

I dont understand the people with 0 or 1-2 losses. I get frozen right before the tale of the tape screen and kicked out at least once every 25 or so fights. Even if I were undefeated my record would have 10-15 losses just from the game crashing.

if u get frozen just wait. it normally means u skipped the intro and the other guy didnt and it shows a white screen the entire time but eventually it always puts me in

We aren’t talking about that. This one freezes the screen and is sometimes accompanied by a brrrring noise and kicks you out of the game.
