You get my point, cant be 100percent but you can make smart decisions. We all thought will brooks would do better than he did.
The removed the legends likely because they arent on the UFC roster or signed UFC deals that give them likeness rights and they didnt want to pay them again.

What would be a smart decision? Keep in mind that this roster was pretty much finalized in early summer 2016. Who wouldve been a higher percentage addition at that time:

Covington? Yes, 4-1 at the time but he really didnt have a signature win until after the roster lock.

Mike Perry? Maybe. He was 3-1 at the time with his biggest win being over Jake Ellenberger.

Blaydes? 1-1-1 (2-1 if you ignore the NC) when the roster locked. Thats not a guarantee that he is going to be a top 10 fighter at that time.

Its all a crap shoot. No one knows. Covington was 4-2 but his biggest win was either Mike Pyle or Bryan Barberena. Neither of those guys was a world beater. He couldve lost to Kim and Maia and no one would care if he was in the game or not.

FYI, I believe Curran was one of the women who did mo cap and thats why she has a custom 1-2.

Well if thats the case id rather just save the money for resigning legends and making the roster more unique and wait till a prospect earns a win streak then by sticking your head out. Though i would pick blades over tim, ncjaa champ and only loss to tko to nganou due to big az swollen eye lol but thats opinions

Yeah i know she was but save your money lol

            He’s a pretty smart guy.

I always remember that video where he’s teaching Kimbo Slice how to throw a jab.

Wish we could have some random mythical non MMA fighters in the game lol.

We have Bruce Lee, I wouldn't mind Chuck Norris.

                I have another thought...

If ufc has to sign of on the roster and stats they should give a heads up and say his most likely going to be cut if he loses again. So gives ea a chance to weed out the wrong choices

Michael Jai White is no joke.

                  6'1, 205 lbs.

Dude started training Japanese Jiu Jitsu when he was 7 years old, and has a black belt in Kyokushin Karate(Bas Rutten, GSP), Shotokan Karate(Machida, Vitor), Goju Ryu Karate(Gunnar Nelson), Taekwondo, Tang Soo Do, Wushu, and Okinawan Kobudo(Weapons System)

Joe Rogan has talked about White before on his podcast, saying if he had gotten into MMA, instead of acting, he'd definitely be competitive. Dude is an athletic freak with a lifetime of Martial Arts experience.

I don't even care man, Michael Jai White would smoke half the MW/LHW divisions still imo.

They didn't go out of their way to get Currans 1-2 in game. She offered to do Mo-Cap for them, so they might as well get a few of her unique strikes while they're there.

As for the actual topic, when the roster was locked, half of the new additions looked promising, they just weren't.

Tim Johnson over other HWs was odd though.

Daamn. TIL. Didn’t realise he had any credentials in martial arts.

He’s still jacked as **** at 50, he could be Yoel Romero 2.0 lol. There is still time.

Francisco Trinaldo. 16 UFC fights, 17 vs Vick tomorrow. 8-1 last 9 fights, been with the UFC since 2012... This guy gets passed up? WTF man.

Looking at his record, the game is not the only thing that passes by him.

On topic: for all we know he can be back with the UFC by the time the next game comes along. Who knows.
