you could throw someone on the ground after catching a kick by pressing one of the kickbuttons. maybe you can’t do this to dilashaw and he automatically tucks and rolls when you try to throw him down? or maybe you can deny a caught kick TD? i cant tell if marlon was going for the TD or the throw.

Fighters are cocky, call it their gameplan, technique they think they have great chin so they are willing to trade knowing they will be okay and steadily walk run stalk then come up to your face and bang knowing they will be kinda immune to eating strikes.Also part of conserving stamina at the expense of vulnerability. So this is tactical right, to be flat-footed you have good striking accuracy and technique; staying light-footed all the time is also good gameplan for defending off aggressive fighters but you will definitely lose stamina- counter at the expense of stamina loss. UFC 3 allows pressure fighting but it's not fun. Pressure fighting is something to behold the tension is real.

R2 and down on rights stick
There's 2 animations one which is a switch you see in colligiate wrestling the other is what dillashaw did.
Also that throw when you catch a kick is a animation you get from pressing a kick button
But the agressive throw must be a push kick

That is pretty awesome. It reminds me of when Sonnen did something similar when Silva caught his kick.

I would guess it happens if you don't do anything with the catch and you let them go.

Either way. I like the idea of being able to defend even after being caught. It should've been like that for parries too.

I've been making this claim since I was in beta version.

I've seen this and done this before, but I don't remember how I did it. I feel like I did it by hitting one of the face buttons though. I'll confirm later.
