    Re: Fighter Update - 3/7/2018

I love the updates, keep them coming! If someone has performed badly in their last fight, drop the stats. Lets keep it as true to the last fight as poss

One thing I noticed today I thought was wierd, almost all of Ortega's subs are level 1, apart from his triangle which is level 3. Surely a guy like him with such high level jiu jitsu should have higher move levels for these subs?

So you're saying updates should be made once every year or so? Because its highly unlikely for fighters to have 2-3 fights within an 8-12 month period.
      Lineup:
      PG) Gary Payton
      SG) '95-'96 Michael Jordan
      SF) Sapphire Scottie Pippen
      PF) '95-'96 Dennis Rodman
      C) Hakeem Olajuwon

I'm just saying things like strike speed shouldn't change often - nor should chin strength.

Kinda wish Ortega got a bit more love.
His rear upper is still only at level 1 in game, and overall his stats (to me) don't really represent someone who merked my boy Frankie on the feet, though I was only expecting a slight power/speed/moveset buff, but 1 pt to strength? C'Mon ya'll, C'Mon.

Id say starching frankie is pretty extraordinary and deserving of more than a +1 to ortegas power...

It is really cool to see updates based on each UFC event. Well done!

Its cool though because it makes it like this is where this fighter is at as of their last fight. A weakness or strength they just showcased is immediately a part of the game.

Hopefully it can help mix up the fighters people use throughout the life of the game. If a champ loses the new champ will be relevant immediately and the previous champ will have a weakness he didn't before. Its way better than the best guy in the game being a champ from 2 years ago that hasnt fought. (Conor being the exception obviously)

Btw, why drop OSP on his sub D? He was nearly KOed before that front choke, it was all muscle. OSP is great with subs, he got hurt on the feet.
I agree on OSP. The post fight commentary was the same "Oh he did nothing to defend that choke" DC kept saying, as if he literally didn't see OSP stumbling around completely out on his feet not 5 seconds before the choke.

It's not a massive drop so I'm not too buzzed, but still.

On a side note, I want standing FTF subs like that guillotine Latifi used, I don't know how they'd really work without clinch health events but still.. want. Or just a few standing subs from the clinch, like a standing guillotine from SC/MT clinch on cage a-la Jones, Latifi, or a Jan B. standing RNC/Arm triangle/"Hold my beer while I hang off your neck like a sloth" style choke.

We only need huge rating changes after it's a pattern in two fights maybe. I don't even like the Madden weekly updates. One good game or fight irl shouldn't deserve a huge ratings jump. Madden uses a lot more of it's 100 pt rating system, so 4 rating pts isn't as much. But to have those two fighters go up and down by that much in this game off one fight, and esp Cyborg who was only taken down once, is a bit much.

I’ve been all over this in the stat change thread but all he got was the 1 point power upgrade. Might help if you throw your support in!

I agree. His subs should have higher levels especially guillotines.
Guillotines in Gracie Academy in Torrance are on another level.
He should be guillotine level 4 or 5

Exactly. Level 1 is entry level surely. This guy should be a wizard with the majority of them
