Real time clock in ranked?

I've always been curious to why this was only in quick fight but not ranked. Just curious as to why its not in ranked. I feel this would make a difference in how the pace of fights go imo.

Because the accelerated clock compensated for the general higher aggression of players.

This game is made more to fit an arcade fighter than a sim. Guys can throw 300 strikes in 1 round with a real time clock. The odds of leaving the first round would be slim lol.

I think they would gas out way faster it would slow the pace of fights after a week or two?

I always seem to do better in 5-round fights compared to 3-round fights --- so I would love for time to be extended by getting rid of accelerated clock

But I highly doubt it'll happen.

Which is a little ridiculous in a way. It feels way to fast paced and i don't like rushing but in ranked i feel like i'm running a sprint instead of a marathon.

Plenty of people hate on EA MMA mostly probably due to the lack of the ufc license sadly, but that game had perfect pacing imo. One shot can end the fight at anytime or you csn have a real 5 round war. Really thought Tiburon would have been the ones working on this franchise.

They did so much with the small budget they had. They really seemed to be fans of the sport and not just started watching it because they were working on an mma game. I mean we didn't even have a sprawl position at launch for ufc 1.

Want to know, why this can't be added to rank as well? See that we have no hud in ranked now Div. 6 or higher which i really am glad to hear about(Though I feel it should be 4 or even 5) but this time clock change would make it an even more immersive experience imo. Hope i can get an answer on this.
