    I didn’t even have any idea we were getting a patch this early so I’m not mad we don’t have new fighters in it, it’s more of a comment toward the people I’ve seen around saying “we got Dana before X!?”

      Yeah, I has a feeling people would say that. Its a bit confusing because people are used to getting fighters with every patch. I dont know for sure but my money is on April being the next time we get fighters. I hope I'm wrong though.

        Which makes me think they can do the same for all lower important fighters. Gameface Emil Meek's face, add generic AI, usman's body type. good to go. I'd take filling up the top 15 in ALL divisions that way. Then custom update the stars (Sugar Sean, etc) as they rise in importance.

        Just had a few fights with the AI on legendary and it's a world apart from launch-AI. Damn exciting fights!

          Yeah I'd didn't think that was realistic either based on history. But I was hopeful.

            I dont know for sure but I dont think they gamefaced Dana. Also people killed the art team in UFC 1 for using Gameface to create new fighters because many of them looked subpar compared to roster fighters that were in the game previously.

              I'm not even overly opposed to this. For lower level fighters especially and after they've basically updated the game play as much as they are gonna.

              If it's reasonable to do, I wouldn't hold guys in the 25-35 range to a huge standard. Online would never use anyone outside of the top 15 anyway and for guys like me who play offline universes it's just about the bodies and filling out cards.

                    Going to be about impossible to land to the body now

                    Huge Body Catch Window remains

                    Jabs and Straights to body take longer (I'm no proponent of spam but a solid straight down the middle to the gut should be viable)

                    Body Knees more easily dodged

                    Added vulnerability to Duck (when throwing a body punch...are you considered ducking? I assume so. Throwing body punches was already flirting with death so if this was made even more dangerous...)


                    I'll be interested in checking out this block-breaking animation... b/c people will have no reason at all to block their bodies anymore (unless to get an easy body kick catch) --- so I better get used to breaking high guard lol

                    But I think that's just as powerful as beforehand so all but impossible to break in the midst of a real fight (not just a rocked state)

                    Doh!

                    A lot of these changes look legit though....fingers crossed !

                      I also dislike the new body jab straight speed it's already hard enough to catch runners after the body kick tune down.

                        Quick thing - it seems as if 10/7s are impossible in this game had 10 knockdowns in one round and it was a 10/8 ... seems like it should allow 10/7. Also love that Anderson taunts are back . But can we get nicks back in aswell

                          As a big fan of UFC/pride/strikeforce/bellator/cage rage etc since Day 1 (watch every fight since 1993 )
                          Im disappointed by the management of this game.

                          Fan know, all top fighter have solid grappling base.
                          Ground is a huge part of mma (and street fighting).

                          If you dont like ground game/takedown/sub go k1 or boxing.

                          Since the dev make grappling a pain.. we have to stand and bang. Yeah its fun, People who dont know mma are going to like the game. And i like too..
                          But the game can be so much better/realistic.

                          I play ufc because ultimate team, so cool to make our fighter. But no balance between grappler/striker.

                          Patch after patch, in ultimate team i have to play like macgregor or get wrecked.

                          For people who dont know, mcgregor is done with his floyd money, for now mma its all about miocic/cormier/jones(soon)/whittaker/johnson/TJ/nurmagomedov and so many other good guys who wait a chance for the belt.

                          ALL this guys have HIGH wrestling level. I dont see one of this guys move his head and dance 15mn no stop like anderson Silva when he want to play with his opponent.

                          Make us a good balance between striker and grappler in UT, its all i want.
                          Was too much pre patch, too weak post patch.

                            -Vulnerability tuning while ducking and side slipping, making the vulnerability higher on ducks, and making vulnerability last longer on side sways.

                            this one is very helpful to punish head movement spammer now. thanks a lot.

                              -slow down body jab by 4 frames, slow down body straight by 2 frames

                              I am not a fan of this one. they were too slow already and more slower now. I don't understand their decision about that. disappointed.

                                So good step in the right direction. It seems sway spammer have some vulnerability after this new patch.
