I don't get the downgrade in Striking Stamina for JJ.
While Rose was clearly the better fighter, JJ still looked to be way ahead in terms of conditioning, i agree with the downgrade in Power and Striking Speed (although i think 3 points may have been too much), but i'd have downgrade her Striking Accuracy instead of Stamina.

Exactly my thoughts. While i may not agree 100% with every stat change they made, i'm still loving the fact that a UFC game finally has a roster that is constantly updated through the year.

        Same here.
But still I'm very dissapointed with Blachowicz not getting improved.

I don't think every time a fighter has a good performance that there need to be stat change unless it was super significant. Like why decrease Werdum chin becuase he got dropped while absolutely gassed. And why is Al's chin rating increased becuase he took shots from a guy who barely drops or rocks anyone standing....

Same, kinda funny how they updated manuwa when he lost to a guy who's 85 all across the board

Was hoping they would add a few points of stamina to Iaquinta. Any little update helps though

He was getting beat pretty badly on the ground in 1,2,5. And he was basically letting khabib hit him in the face in 3 and 4 and he was never in any danger

Yeah, if you wanna play Al realistically you'll have to take a few punched to the face. And to do that you'll need a proper chin stat.

why's Ronda 84 in striking, and bethe correia 87? that seems off.

That's what Khabib does in the ground. Beats the hell out of people in any position but doesn't over exert himself looking for a finish. If AL gets a 92 chin for not getting finished then so should Johnson and barboza. Both of those guys never gave up just like Al.

I don't mind the update, and I realize it sounds kinda nitpicky, but I think it's not necessary after every fight. I think Al's chin rating was already high enough. Werdum not being able to sub Volkov shouldn't result in a lowered sub offense for him, but the sub D boost for Volkov makes sense. Another example would be just because arlovski didn't get knocked out for two fights in a row doesn't mean his chin rating should be necessarily be increased. hey im just glad the game is getting constant updates

Eh? Johnson basicly let Khabib submit him to get out of that GnP (and then got TKO'd by Gaethje the next fight). Edson barely survived a 3 round fight

Not to mention Al didn't even train for those last 2 rounds.

I think a bump is well deserved, and we'll see in his next fight how accurate the stats are.

Eh, I still think taking Khabib jabs is not enough to get a chin boost, and plenty have taken Khabib ground and pound and not gotten finished. But i get why the update was made and i can see the argument for it.

I was very proud of how Barboza hung I'm there as he has a rep for having no heart... but let's be real AL had the same look of despair on his face that Barboza did, if you were to judge chin for both fighters on based how Khabib handled them I'd say they were the same. MJ took a much worse beating, good lord I can still hear the sound of him taking those Dagestan hammers.

Edson is a warrior, and I'm pretty sure he got a bump in health/endurance after that fight. Also, If they had the same look is debatable, but one fighter went 2 extra rounds.

I’d like to see a complete overhaul on Khabib’s striking style. A decrease in power, and an increase in footwork and speed would be in order. A decrease in takedowns could perhaps be OK; his shoot takedowns aren’t on par with his control and clinch game, but I digress on this point.

Regarding footwork: I feel like his sporadic, chaotic footwork is one of his trademarks. He reacts quickly and drastically to evade his opponents strikes, he covers and controls distance well, and he’s always bouncing or jogging. He’s actually got a very active footwork style, and aside from his Barboza fight (he had a specific gameplan), I’d argue his footwork is among the very best at LW. It’s unorthodox but undeniably effective the way he chaotically rushes in and out, throwing bombs and dropping levels, blocking strikes with superb reaction time.

Regarding striking speed: He could also use an increase in the striking speed stat. He’s among the fastest punchers at LW. He frequently keeps his hands low when at striking range, relying on his speed and reflexes to both evade and land strikes. He keeps his hands high in the pocket, but his punching speed is definitely impressive. He didn’t exchange much with Michael Johnson, but when he did, he certainly threw the faster, cleaner punches. Come to think of it, Khabib has out-struck everyone he’s fought, including RDA and Barboza. He toyed with Iaquinta, enjoying a comfortable speed advantage.

I’m not trying to make Khabib an unbeatable machine at LW on the game. He just has a very flat-footed, slow moveset (his jab has no pop to it, his moving strikes have no snap to them, etc).

I could easily see a case for decreasing his takedown stat; his takedowns aren’t what makes him great, it’s his control. Once in the clinch or on the mat, he’s like a 205er. But from straight shooting takedowns, he’s not too spectacular, especially when his opponents know it’s coming. Raging Al stuffed several of his singles over the course of 5 rounds, Michael Johnson stuffed a couple. It’s his pressure and control that make him so good.

                                Nog's chin is still pedestrian.
