Ty - yes he's doing something to induce lag purposefully.

The other guys are outright dosing people and causing them to lose service giving them losses.

Well there are certain preventative measures that can be implemented. EA UFC 3 requires you to connect to an authentication server prior to logging in. They could implement some sort of IP spoof through that authentication process that protests players from malicious activity such as IP sniffing/Dos attacks.

I can do that on my own simply by unplugging my modem to ensure that a new dynamic IP is assigned. These bad actors should not get wins and had at losses by way of this method.

Just deal with it is not an acceptable approach.

Oooo no much more fun black holeing them and hope thay useing thay own IP to ping you as once it’s black holed thay will never be able to re connect to you in a match soon a nuff if ever one black holes them thay have no one to fight apart form thay selfs

I told the devs about him about 2-3 weeks ago. He KO'd me with an unblockable headkick in lag. I PM'd him and called him a laggy ba****d. He gave me the same fake sob story. "I'm so sorry man, there's a snowstorm here jacking up my internet, I'll stop playing for the day."

20 minutes later, I match up with him again...

This time unblockable takedowns unto inescapable submission. FUN!

Glad you started the thread so it doesn't just look like I'm salty for losing to some random guy who happens to have a poor connection. It's obvious this loser is intentionally lagging his connection to exploit every hole that exists in the game's network architecture.

I also agree that if someone lags hard enough they should be booted.

I've been lobbying the devs for two things:

1) A pre-match ping meter that allows us to decline laggy matches

2) A ping threshold that boots and gives an L to someone who exceeds a certain ping during the match

Not sure if either will happen, but I literally want to uninstall the game every time I fight someone who abuses lag like this.

Yeah he's the worst as far as I'm concerned. He needs a ban undoubtedly, but in the meantime something that just removes him for excessive grieving would be even better in my opinion so that he's still around to beat on after he "fixes" his connection.
