    Armtraps

Does anyone else feel like the AI is a little to good at arm traps?

I would definitely like to see the AI armtraps get nerfed, but only after they improve the AI’s ground game ability significantly.

Yeah man I agree. I just got arm trapped about 15 times in one fight and half of those is with the other fighter having absolutely no stamina. Yet I couldn't time an arm trap to save my life lol

Yep, its nuts. I literally don't bother with GnP on anyone with arm traps because they'll always catch your first, second or third strike.

It's weird, too, because the AIs ground defense got made easier to penetrate, you couldn't win with GnP at all really before the patch, the AI would just block and transition out, but now you can absolutely unload on the AI, provided it doesn't hard arm traps .

But yeah, hope they get toned back.

          Also this. 100%.
It's too easy to outgrapple AI DC with Sąki when it shouldn't be possible.

The AI is horrible in grappling except for submission offense.

Try throwing any strikes at all from postured up full guard or half guard. Your lucky if they don't arm trap at least 10 times in one fight lol. I'd up your difficulty. I am playing on pro and the CPU is giving me a decent challenge on the ground. Then again I try and fight a realistic style I'm not just out to beat the computer. Not saying that you do but I have some house rules I follow to make it more of a challenge and not exploit the AI. Thankfully skynet had done a really good job to the AI and I don't have to make many.

I think a good way to balance it out would be to make them extremely difficult to pull of when your oppononent has good stamina, but extremely easy to pull off of your opponent is wailing away at you on the ground and burns there stamina.

I play on pro if I play offline. I agree the arm traps are ridiculous.
