One gate submission?

Chris Weidman just submitted me with a one gate kimura from side control. I went into his moveset and it says it's a regular submission. Is this some type of a special reversal?

I’m betting it was a finish the fight submission which is one gate.

One gate submission?

i’ve done normal submissions, not ftf ones, that were one gate. every time it happened it was the last 20-10 seconds of the round and usually won me the fight. it was with nate diaz’s triangle or brian ortegas guillotine. not sure if it’s intentional or not.

I dunno what the deal is with this one.

I've had it happen once on a guillotine from guard, but nothing else was out of the ordinary, I wasn't rocked, my opponent was fine and our stamina was roughly even.

It felt deliberate as the animations of all the stages just smoothly played out as we fought over the one gate but I can't be sure.

I think I was Alistair, who has a good guillotine, but I tried it again and it was four gates, so I dunno what the go was.

This was just in Offline Fight Now.

I've seen regular subs (not finish the fight or green gate sub switches) that normally have 4 or 5 gates become 2. It also is usually accompanied with a weird ending where the sub completes in the middle of a gate. Might be damage, lag, or a bug. Haven't quite put my finger on it.

I've seen regular subs (not finish the fight or green gate sub switches) that normally have 4 or 5 gates become 2. It also is usually accompanied with a weird ending where the sub completes in the middle of a gate. Might be damage, lag, or a bug. Haven't quite put my finger on it.

I think I’ve had normal subs (not ftf or green gate) that were 2 gates also. It was only once offline and I don’t record stuff. I thought oh well someone else will report this.

I just had one.
Poirier v Lee on Hard AI, I was Poirier.

I stunned Lee, he survived it and took me down, I immediately went for an armbar and it was one gate.. weird.

His block was fine.
