Judging based entirely off total strike count?

It seems that judging is entirely about the total strike count. You can take a guy and control him for half the round and still lose if he landed more strikes. Significant strikes don't matter either. Only other thing that seems to matter is knockdowns, which is a guaranteed round winner. Judging needs some big time tuning, grapplers stand no chance.

Its not. Its based primarily off of damage. Run a search on this forums and you will find one of the many convos we've had about judging that explains how the judging criteria works.
