Re: Patch spoilers discussion
Ragdoll would be experienced by everyone
Especially if it were eventually introduced into the grappling, where it really belongs
Less static animations, more real timeComment

Re: Patch spoilers discussion
I’m in this horrible spot where I want to play the game still, but with all the new patch notes it’s tough to play knowing it’s a different game come Thursday. So stoked for the changes being made. I’m holding out hope we get a locomotion change to clinch spoiler tomorrow.
GPD usually ends with something big! Don’t get me wrong because I’m happy for patch to drop as is now. I’m not sure how big of a change something like clinch locomotion is, but a guy can hope. Any game designers on the forum that can shed light on if this is something that could reasonably be in a patch or are we most likely waiting for ufc 4 on this one?Comment

About Ragdoll:
In a video game representing a sport like MMA, the more physics they can put in there without completely jeopardizing mechanics, the better.Comment

Re: Patch spoilers discussion
Strike animation variation, similar to Martials recent thread. Mostly for basic strikes. Career mode, overall game modes and features. Certain aspects of presentation (pretty much just staredowns)
Ground movement and how fluid it is from transitioning from GnP to holding down to your opponent. Just feels more organic and fluid. The way you can transition from striking to the clinch to the ground.
If EA UFC 4 can incorporate some of these UD3 ideas while also building on top of their own, damn will it be hard to top.

Re: Patch spoilers discussion
Certain fighter having unique strike/stance/movement animations is a much needed addition. Gaethje was a great start, now Wanderlei's hooks.
What still bothers me (not that much tho) is that every single fighter throws leg kicks the same way. There's massive differences between the way Aldo or Barboza throw leg kicks to a guy like, let's say, Rampage Jackson or Gray Maynard. It just throws me off a bit when I see it.Comment

About Ragdoll:
Couldn't agree more. Having more physics in grappling and Finish the Fight scenarios (and of course KOs) would make every takedown, every slam, EVERY finish (including TKOs not just KOs) unique and organic.

Re: Patch spoilers discussion
One of the things I wish they could improve a bit is some of the punching animations. The jab to the body while moving forward is very jarring, but the standing body jab looks fine. Some of straights are also very awkward, Jon Jones especially has a very awkward moving straight. Like his feet aren't moving correctly or something.
Might be just me though.Last edited by skz1904; 08-21-2018, 05:57 PM.Comment

There's no evidence to suggest that this is the last patch or last batch of fighters.Comment

Re: Patch spoilers discussion
gpd slower subs please! and fix the missing moves i saw you did fix alot of them but many remain missing also buff brian ortegas striking he should have at least 91 striking stamina 90 blocking switch stance and footwork. he uses his boxing to set up his subs he has as many kos as he has subs his striking is worse than frankie who has level 5 boxing combos i hope we see a return to freeflowing combos in ufc 4 ty for your hard work i know i bitch alot but i also know your a good listenerComment
