He’s def not OP. Part of the reason he’s so good is his frame, he looks like a giant compared to most in the division. The other part is he has an amazing moveset. I think IRL this guy is 100% top 3/4 in the division, he will be at title level within 2-3 fights. Very nice work on the patch devs 👍
Now it’s time to tune the counter window after a successful lunge.
As many others have said, they snap back way too quick. It takes
much patience and timing to simply have them snap back immediately.
The catch kick window is also way too large. Haven’t seen any effect
from the takedown, clinch denial switching cooldown either.
Nice work overall, the striking feels great now. Just expand those
counter windows after a successful lunge a lot.Comment

Haven't had a chance to mess with the Career Mode since the patch dropped, so can someone please answer a question about the new Fight History screen?
Does it include only your fighter's fights or does it include the results from all of the fights from each fight card, even if your fighter wasn't involved on the card?
If it's the latter, it would make you feel that more connected to your own UFC "Universe".

Yeah all the offensive fighter has to do once they realize that you swayed is press block and it basically negates the entire momentum mechanic. However, a lot of people already instinctively hold block after they realize their combo isn’t gonna land.My thoughts on the patch, absolutley everything that’s been added has made this game better. No doubt. Now for the constructive criticism.
The Thai clinch entry is now broken, character now just side steps when you try to go for the clinch. 100% needs to be tuned. You literally have to hold down LT&LB for a second before trying to clinch.
The new footwork looks absolutley beautiful. However I do feel they need to open up the counter window or add more perm stamina tax to the aggressor. As others have said the ‘snap back’ is far too quick, you patiently side step a three punch combo and open up an angle for a counter and they magically spin back square and get there block up.
The body kick catch window is still farrrr to large. The timing should have to be near perfect to catch a body kick. They should nerf the block bleedthrough for all kicks but make the catch much harder to do.
The changes to the pre deny on the clinch and takedown have made little to no impact as far as I can see or the window itself for denying is still too big
Overall though this patch is fantastic, just needs a few tweaks which would be expected with such a revolutionary change to footwork.
Oh and Zabit is A LOT of fun to use. Brilliant job on his moveset and combos. Still feel his cardio and health is on the low side but doesn’t kill the fun of using him atm....precision beats power and timing beats speed... and realism beats meta.Comment

The game is definitely better.
I agree that the snapback to the evasion could be a little slower.
The only odd thing I've saw is a couple different odd animations when blocking or interrupting the rolling thunder kick.
Would it ever be possible to have the seated cage position included as a normal place the fight could go to?
Like how you can go to over under from next to the cage in submissive guard, it would be awesome to be able to inch up to cage seated, then up to over/under, or get dragged back down into guard, and both fighters being able to strike/transition/block.

Yeah, I agree his approach isn't great lol. I've made detailed posts with gifs, explaining what we liked about UFC 2 KO physics, and how they can be improved in UFC 3. I thought I was pretty objective, but I get some people don't care about the KO's. However many people do, especially the more casual players. And since this was literally a back-of-the-box feature from UFC 2.UFC 3 KO's can look canned, UFC 2 KO's can look silly, I can honestly take it or leave it, got no skin in the game.
but if you check out Melo's post list it's basicly 90% ragdoll spam. It's like he's the new Lurch banging on about rankings changes. I go to a thread about say "here's a new cool thing in the game" and there's Melo going "wheeere's ragdoll?" it's effing spam at this point.
The standup is so good now, I'm hoping they can improve this with the next patch. GPD said it was just one dude who works on this, so it's not like a huge resource investment.
If GPD comes on here and says "we're never going to change this because of X", then maybe we can all stop asking

I havnt played this game in a bit due to The Show and Madden being out. But it really is impressive how the developers are constantly improving it and listening to the community, it truly is a dedicated team. Yh his striking is on point as it should be. In reality the guy is a top tier striker and as elite a striker as they come. His trip for sure seems to be OP currently, but alot of that seems to be due to the fact that the new single collar attempt animation is so subtle. From what I understand, if the lead strike thrown at you is a hook, or body uppercut, you can block and return a hook or uppercut from the same side you blocked, before your opponents next strike lands. There may be a timing window on your block a la parries and the window is stupid short. Forget about trying to return mid combo.
