Wow that's crazy.Im really not a troll tho and I'm not a casual, I love videogames I'm just being honest I'm not trying to insult the devs or make a toxic environment I just really wanted the feature put back.Comment

Can we please get the ability to enter the cage double/single leg position from the clinch? I'd love to be able to shoot to get up against the cage, go to over under, then drop back to the takedown.Comment

Re: EA Sports UFC 3 Content Update #8 Available Now - Patch Notes Here
I have messed around a little on the patch this weekend and love most of it but I also dislike some of the animations that currently exist. I'm planning to make a thread soon with clear bullet points about what I don't like and I encourage you to do the same.
The developers will probably appreciate it a lot more if a thread or post is specific and detailed and not generalised to a one sentence request. It's been mentioned before that GPD is aware of our ragdoll requests and I suspect its something that's being considered or maybe not due to the current limitations of the RPM engine.
There is only one guy working in this area from what I remember, so it's not a case of anyone being lazy/bad. Development is not an easy job due to short timescales and they are probably very understaffed like most companies now.
The expectation of what we want is fine to post about but you have to remember the devs are also probably under a hell of lot of pressure with timescales. I'm highly grateful we are still getting patches and direct communcation with GPD/Skynet at this point, which is more than can be said about most development teams. This forum is a great place because is direct collaboration with the lead dev and other important figures who are actively applying feedback.
Just looking out for you as I'm sure even your aware your walking a fine line between the mods banning you and being able to stay and collaborate.
Regards

Bro, I share the same passion for you when it comes to improving the finishes and knockouts but your going about this in the wrong way. Calling the developers out for being lazy and spamming every thread asking about ragdoll is just going to hurt the cause.

RPM has absolutely nothing to do with ragdoll. RPM has nothing to do with the physics engine.
The thing that makes me discount that guy's opinion is that he keeps saying we took out ragdoll and he wants it back, when clearly ragdoll still exists in the game and has from the beginning. Speaking to what you don't like about the current ragdoll implementation is one thing, and can be productive. Claiming it doesn't exist at all simply displays ignorance.
The guy who works on ragdoll is going on a two month paternity leave starting last Wednesday.Comment

This is probably the best next gen fight game they’ve done. With the proper sliders, been extremely fun. Can’t just go brawling like in previous versions, you actually have to fight smart.

Re: EA Sports UFC 3 Content Update #8 Available Now - Patch Notes Here
I'm not sure if you ever saw my post detailing exactly what I think can be improved with the UFC 3 knockout physics. But I was trying to be constructive there.
But with the KO engineer gone on pat leave, it sounds like there's not going to be any more work done in this area. Is this something we should close the book on for UFC 3?
ThanksComment

Melo is definitely going about this the wrong way...

BTW, the guy who did the bulk of the support work to make the loss of tracking on lunges possible is the same guy who does the ragdoll stuff.
I think that was a more impactful change and better use of the limited time we had for him to contribute to patch work.Comment

For the most part yes. There's one thing I want to explore still but it may not happen. Consider it closed, and if anything happens it will be a pleasant surprise.

Agreed, the tracking improvements definitely had a bigger impact on gameplay! It's actually kind of changed everything (for the better).
Just curious, what was your idea that you wanted to explore? Even if it's something we'll have to wait until UFC 4 to getComment

I don't want to say for fear of getting people's hopes up.
It may not happen, it may happen and make things worse.
Until I try it, it's really just an idea.Comment

This a hundred percent. A "Drop Down" option would be good, or when a single leg is denied , it puts you in that position as well.EA Sports UFC GameChanger
