Let's get a few things straight.
RPM has absolutely nothing to do with ragdoll. RPM has nothing to do with the physics engine.
The thing that makes me discount that guy's opinion is that he keeps saying we took out ragdoll and he wants it back, when clearly ragdoll still exists in the game and has from the beginning. Speaking to what you don't like about the current ragdoll implementation is one thing, and can be productive. Claiming it doesn't exist at all simply displays ignorance.
The guy who works on ragdoll is going on a two month paternity leave starting last Wednesday.Comment

Everyone is acting like I'm attacking the devs and saying I'm spamming but It wasn't spamming toe because they never answered me so I assumed no one was seeing it.Gpd finally came out and said it's not coming back so it's no need to keep bringing it up.all I wanted was a answer and I respect him for telling the truth.No one was really talking about Ragdolls except me and a couple other guys so we went hard trying to make it a topic.so sorry if I offended you @gpd I really do think it's cool that you come here and listen to everyones ideasComment

So i played around with the new patch after not even booting up the game for months since the "grappling" and "icon" patches were a huge disappointment to me lol.
the footwork, tracking and single collar changes are all a step in the right direction, although i agree with the people saying the snap back after the lunge/pivot is still a little too unrealistically quick. the seated cage ftf position is also a good addition and finally being able to hurt people from single collar is another needed and welcome change. this patch has restored some faith and is the best one so far in terms of improving realism so great job.
so with all that said, here comes the hate lol.
STILL no changes to the ground or the ATROCIOUS gnp yet again?!
the lack of rocks, ground sways, ref interactions and realistic tko's on the ground is just so poor when undisputed had these things years ago using inferior technology.
every fight that ends via ground strikes does NOT end with the losing fighter getting ko'd clean(with horrible animations to add insult to injury) while the ref chills in the background. that aspect of the game is just embarrassingly bad. an absolutely laughable representation of the sport.
it's unreal to me that the team have failed to address this for 4 years and just called it good, making zero effort to improve by far the worst aspect of the game. these omissions genuinely ruin the game for me, i cant finish fights with gnp because it just looks so horrendous i dont want to see it lol.
and this isnt an undisputed>eaufc issue for me, it's simply a realistic representation of the sport issue.Comment

I'm trying to figure out how exactly a dude has priority over me when I just did a successful lunge. It's like the game doesn't care, what's the point of lunges then? I'm exposing my entire body to try to get a lunge, risking getting rocked and have damage. I do it and the dude has priority over my strikes, why? I'm not even doing uppercuts or anything, just straights and jabs.
Is it lag? Is the window too narrow?
Useless as it is for online, the risk is not worth the reward. Work my *** off the entire round to get lunges only for it not matter because the dude hit me with a jab after the lunge. Great.Comment

Seems like the best thing you can do after a lunge isn't even to punch someone, just high kick them. You can try hooks, but they only come out at decent speed if you're not touching any direction after the lunge, so then most times the hook doesn't even reach the opponent. If you do decide to move with the hook then you'll probably move somewhere you don't want to because all directions change after the lunge.
It's just not every useful right now. Either that or I suck. But if lunging and getting kicked almost always results in you getting rocked, then lunging and hitting someone with a straight or a hook should also result in rocked status. I mean, you lunged. Your opponent is facing a different direction than yours. How can the opponent block anything when you're not even in front of him.Comment

I finally caved in and plsyed after months and the fighting does feel great now.the combos are and punches are way faster and I like the cage knockdowns.the knockouts seem superspeed sometimes it's goofy but in a funny way...Comment
