    Here's an idea:
Rematching fighters are based on how close the first fight was.

I see a lot of people KO X in the first round and barely scrape a win over Y, only to get a rematch with X.

The world around you not evolving in any meaningful way is bad. Your characters total lack of personality (and any control over that personality) is bad. The way it boots you out of the UFC totally unrealistically after a couple losses severely limits replayability because every career arc is the same, which is bad.

Like I said, the move acquisition is fine and so is the stat progression to a point. I still hate that in ever sports game you show up as a complete scrub when that isn’t how most people start a sport but that’s every game so fine. But those things aren’t enough. Career mode is bad, was bad last time, and I’m not sure they’ll focus on what they need to to make career mode in the next game good if there is one.
      This is a big issue.

I have two career modes, one where I was a finishing artist with a 100% finishing rate, the other where I played it super safe for decisions. The outcome was the exact same, we got the title at the same exact time. How is it that you can be 18-0 with 16 UFC finishes and not be fighting for the title? Esp at Heavyweight, that's insane.

You need that many fights to get world class stats, thats the worst part about the progression for me. Fighters already have speed or knockout power, its there accuracy, moves and iq that develop.

Yeah there's a lot of numbers that don't seem to mean much.
          - Injuries seem random.
          - Longevity seems to be just a time limit.
          - Rivals are static.
          - Champs are static.
          - Fan interaction seems shallow and there's no synergy (where a combination can create something larger than the sum of its parts.)

I honestly kinda liked the UFC2 career more. It lacks the nice cinematics and animations, as well as the beautiful layout, but there was something really cool about looking at the division rankings and your place in it, and I liked the young CAFs gradually pushing the old veterans out.

Plus some of the training was good as well, i liked the option to do the drills.

Not career mode related but can you not set up fight cards offline like you could in UFC 2?

If UFC 3 we also have a complete TUF mode like UFC 2
That would be a good trip
But the UFC 3 TUF is very simple

You're absolutely right, but for the wrong reasons. People play it once because it sucks. And yes, it's a waste of money for EA as people are handing them tons of it if they're playing UT.
