I was just about to say this. One of the biggest fights in UFC history is next Saturday. Sales and number of users always increase around 2 things: Big Fights (especially Conor fights) and patches.

I would expect something next week.

Same, I love using Branch even though most people were bummed about him and wanted Adesanya. I'm hoping for at least one of the following: Anthony Smith, Thiago Santos, Adesanya, Nikita, Elizeu Dos Santos, Lesnar.
Hoping Cowboy Olivera gets a lil stat boost from that sick KO.

New stats wont be coming until after the patch. EA updates their stats after every PPV and this patch will likely come before it if they want to release it before the Conor fight.

Are you allowed to talk about fighter model updates and if there are any? Last time there were none so I hope there's a few of them this time around (Stephens, cough, Dillashaw, cough, cough). Oh, and since you're a stat guy, do you think Jeremy Stephens deserves a leg kick perk (lvl 3 or 4)? And if you do, are you vehemently campaigning for it?

Whoops! forgot it's only on PPV. I almost forgot about my favorite up and comer, DOMINICK REYES. Hopefully he shines against the chinny OSP who's been rocked badly his past few fights.
VINCENTE LUQUE has also been really imressive lately.
I'm excited to see what changes after that fight card

- No idea about fighter model updates. The only reason I know who the upcoming fighters are is because I help with their stats. We dont have access to the art team so I find out when you do.

- I'm a stat guy and not a moveset or perk guy. I have no input on movesets or perks. Just stats. I dont even know who the guy at EA is who works on the perks. I would be fine with Stephens having a level 3 leg kick perk.

I said that jokingly, I hope you didn't take that too seriously. I'm just baffled by them saying Stephens' performance against Melendez inspired them to revamp the leg kicks and yet he has only a level 3 rear leg kick to show for it.

I didnt take it seriously. Man, I dont know. The team has been asking for Perks input for the last 2 years but it hasnt happened. Dont get me wrong. We can always ask the devs that we do have contact with to pass along a suggested change. With stats though, I can make a suggestion and see it added or at least get an explanation why it wasnt added. Thats not the case with perks or movesets.

Not sure I understood that - the development team wants someone to give input for perks, yet they don't contact you to help them out with that?

Yeah, 10-8 rounds for grappling should be a thing. I don't know what else they can change that can make a significant difference, since they can't overhaul the whole thing. I wonder why is half-guard easier to hold than full mount. By the way, I watched Martial Mind's videos using Kid Yamamoto in UD3 - I have never played that game, haven't even followed it, I did not have a PS3 or an X360 - loved how the grappling looks, damn. So quick, so fluid, how he took the opponent's back from clinch was incredible, no way you can do that **** right now. Then knees from Back Side. The movement on the ground, getting rocks there, etc, etc. I hope for the next game they really use that game to learn and to even build on what they learn.
