In my honest opinion I doubt anybody is going THAT hard for UFC 3 to buy a $1000 monitor. I personally don't think the Pro makes that much of a difference since I've beaten elite guys who've had the pro and a monitor, when I was playing on a regular TV no less. IIRC Advaita (Current #1) is the only guy that I know of who has a $600 monitor and a Pro and yet, my normal monitor (ASUS VG245) and Regular PS4 don''t really have too much of an issue against him.
If somebody has a modded controller to make things easier for them to throw certain moves, it's not affecting how I'm gonna react to them. Whether you use Triangle (Jab) --> L1+R1+ Triangle + Circle (360 Roundhouse kick) or some modified controller to make yourself only have to use jab and an alternative input, the speed of the move isn't going to get any faster and I'm still gonna duck it and give you a nice hook to the body. I've beaten Parker, he's great, but modded controller or not, you still gotta execute in a timely manner.
In the case of Haptic Feedback, that changes the meta game when you have something that was meant for the visually impaired to use, being used by people who are NOT visually impaired changes things drastically, and when you learn the tells accordingly + mastering the use of side lunges with the vibrations of haptic feedback, it's deadly, takes away from individuality of the game and resorts it to a game of the matrix once figured out IMO. (Ricohet90 being the best guy to use the two together by far)
And before you go chirping about Side Lunges being broken by themselves because you had an AI send out a fixed combination so you could Dodge it, I played a dude named Montana___679, I recognize that he was trying to use the side lunges in the exact same manner you were trying to do, and he ended up getting hooked and leg kicked to death. (Probably read your thread!
)But anywho, not to derail the thread, on the topic of the uppercut input, I myself initially thought the input choices were weird, but after going into practice mode and practicing being conscious of what I input, I haven't had the issue in a long time.
