Definitely think it should be an available option for certain fighters. Like mostly bjj guys and stuff. But the thing that makes it a good option for them is that they can go for it from dominant and submissive clinch positions, so thats how it should be in game. Think UD3 and EA MMA had guard pulling.

That's what ea does... They have superior technology than games made 10 years ago but leave out all the basic, fundamental mechanics that these games had...

The closest thing to pulling guard is when you're in sprawl and you transition to Half Guard, or the BJJ Black Belts who have the transition to Full Guard from Sub Side control.

It would change things for sure.

Other things should come first. Would you be concerned with adding spinning elbows, if the game still lacked jabs? No, you’d first add jabs, then worry about spinning elbows. Likewise, we should focus more on the common, fundamental aspects of MMA grappling which are missing from the game, before worrying about guard pulls.

The game does not currently allow us to shoot a takedown, while in the clinch against the cage.

The game does not currently allow a fighter to throw body strikes from BSC.

In an interview GPD did, he talked about going for td positions from double under clinch on cage possibly coming in the next patch. Idk if we'll be able to from any other cage clinch positions, but from double underhooks on cage for sure.
