Id rather have Branch 10 times out of 10 than someone like Stann or Leben. Getting some old dude instead of modern active contenders would be insane to me.

The fact we got Dana White at 4 different classes, Bruce Buffer, etc, instead of actual current fighters, just grinds my gears to dust.

Lets get the actual active roster down before we start adding extra stuff. The roster in this game is so out of date it's not even funny.

hehe maybe suggesting Stann is reaching , but Leben would get nearly as much play as Wand. I think legends get people excited , adding contenders is great but I feel they should have some hype.
, not just be added becuase they are current. Branch best win is Okami and made his debut by tapping to strikes,and if he doesn't get rolling he could be released again . I kinda like the guy too.

I still want Lando Vanatta. I know he’s not very relevant in the rankings anymore, but that dude has the dopest style. I’d love to use him in quick match and just get my flow on

Lando is a good pick, especially if they do mocap. people get into Artem fights, whether they are for or against him so he should definitely go in!

I just don't see there being enough time unless the devs are determined to get him in before the next game and create a patch just to put him in when he's ready.

By merit, he's the most deserving IMO. In terms of marketability and accomplishment (I realize he hasn't fought in the UFC. But he's about as high a profile free agent as you're going to get and there is almost no way he gets cut before the next game.)

I'd basically just look at his fightsLima and Koreshkov fights. Really the only two that look anything like the UFC competition he'll soon be matched up with.

But yeah he'd probably have terrible striking and mediocre subs. His clinch would probably be decent and his top game should be pretty good.

And that would be fine. The dude looks horrible in every way aside from the fact that he’s the best WW in the world. On paper, his stats would look atrocious. Even his takedowns wouldn’t be the best in the division. But he’d certainly need a solid 97+ in the following stats:
Clinch grappling
Clinch throws
Top game
Grapple stamina

Other than that, maybe a 95 for takedowns and bottom game, then just slap 80s on that fool all day. And even if you don’t give him good stats in the areas mentioned above, it would be fine.

Just having him in the game, shoving his afro in peoples faces and winning split decisions, and receiving hatemail about how I have no standup, would be worth all the trouble.

Give the option of turn off longevity in Career mode.
