I want to see powerful single strikes. Try throwing an uppercut or a hook by itself in the pocket and watch your **** get rocked by some ultra speed combo.

We also don't see any randomness in body rocks, it's all vulnerability based. Sometimes a strike catches you just the right way and you're gonna lock up, but in this game you're generally only getting body rocked if your body health is super low or if you are leaning and swaying.

Also, the number of rocks and drops must be reduced. I don't want to pick a number for a limit but if a few of them happen in rather quick succession, say 2 in 20-30 seconds, or 3 in a minute, etc, the referee should very audibly warn you he'll stop the fight and if you get rocked again it's done. If the fight carries on to the following round, the referee should still have your damage in mind, albeit he should be more lenient initially. Right now I'm getting numbers like 6-7-8 stuns and 3 knockdowns in 2 rounds and the like. Enough of that. There should be different levels of being hurt as well.
I see that the devs want to make the game balanced and based on skill, which in itself is a very noble and fair idea, but I think by giving people such a huge amount of chances to bounce back (as if to say "if you're the better player, you'll have to prove it by first knocking the guy down 18 times so there is no doubt") they're going overboard with it. Plus, MMA is not balanced, so an instant KO from power hitters (and not only, I've made a few posts regarding this) should absolutely be a thing.

It would be nice to see more technically sound strike animation vs technically sound ones. IMHO, not everybody should be able to use every fighter the same in standup. If you use Conor or Machida, but you don't play a counter striking style, it should be harder to use them if you just fight coming forward at all times. The uniqueness in most fighter's standup style is still missing. More ratings is a good thing, I hope they don't keep trying to remove ratings.

          Rolling with the punches.

If you use head movement and collide with a strike, there are giant vulnerability spikes. This is good. This makes sense.

If you use head movement and are moving away from a strike, but it glances you, you still get smashed. This is not good. This doesn't make sense.

If you are moving away from a strike but still get hit, it should do considerably less damage. This is called "rolling with the punches" and many many high level fighters do this IRL. This mechanic should be in the game.
