Should we be worried about EA and this games future?

EAs stock has reportedly dropped 41% this year, with battlefield V and battlefront 2 causing Irreparable damage on public opinion and sales figures. UFC 3 came out directly after battlefront and I remember every comment posted on non UFC YouTube pages showing gameplay (IGN Gameplay Reveals and many others) was about boycotting EA and not buying UFC because of microtransactions and giving them a financial middle finger.
We all know this is a niche sport, with not bad but serviceable sales. After khabib vs McGregor I've been regularly seeing 9 - 12,000 people online which is a big increase from the regular 6,000 I'd see before the card. That gives me hope, but EA has killed many beloved franchises such as Dead Space and street sport games because they did not meet sales figures in a more desperate time. The UFC has also said that the deal with EA would span over a "few" games, 3 always seems like the magic number with these kinds of deals and I'm afraid EA doesnt want to renew this license. This is argued to be the best MMA game to date, I cant imagine how much better the next one will be. Going from 1 (a base), 2 (grappling overhaul), 3 (striking overhaul), to 4 (complete mixed martial arts). I would absolutely hate to start from scratch with a different company, AGAIN.

Depends on what you mean by the future. I seriously doubt that EA wont drop UFC 4 given that the devs are likely working toward the next game right now.

Now after 4, I dont know. I dont think we should be comparing it to games like Dead Space. The comparison should be to other sports games. EA UFC outsells both NHL and NBA Live and both of those have continued to be developed by EA. I think as long as games like Fifa and Madden are there to carry the sales load, EA UFC should be safe.
