Havent been keeping up with this game and wondering if there is any confirmation or announcement of a new ufc game.

Hopefully they dont kill the UT mode b4 it comes out this time.

So far, EA’s released a UFC game every two years and this was released in February. They announced EA UFC 3 in NOV 2017, so it’s safe to assume we’ll be hearing about a fourth installment in late 2019.

Do we know if the current plan for releasing a ufc game every 2 years is still in play? most madden games are released yearly, wondering if or what we can reach that point for this game to be a yearly release?

All signs point to staying with the 2 year cycle. I personally prefer it, a game like Madden could REALLY benefit from it. As anxious as I get for sports games that I follow like MMA & NFL, it's a lot better this way imho.

Because:
1. EA UFC 3 is being STILL changed and tuned.
it has a record in a quantity of patches and their changes to the game core mechanics.

2. So, the game NOW is totally different when it was on release. And possibly be changed even more.

3. I am sure very very few people knows exactly how to play the game right using all its available tools and mechanics... So the game requires to learn much much more what you know now.

I hope we get some sort of integral Tutorial and appears some Guides (i keep doing my guide on my own too).

RESUME: EA UFC 3 - is a good deep realistic UFC game, it is ACTUAL and has awesome support, and it still has very large potential which can be discovered and practiced for rising your in game skill/level.

They should be at the forefront with the yearly subscription model we've been hearing about for FIFA or something similar . Just build on what we have but yeah they need the sales either way and the energy of a launch .

We just need to revamp the ground game and give more fighters their signature moves .

2019 khabib still can't khabib guys in UFC 3 like in real life.

Will never happen. The UFC game makes EA money (not close to Madden/Fifa). There is no way EA execs or their shareholders would be cool with not releasing another game until 2021. They didnt pay tens of millions for a license they wont use regularly.

I honestly dont feel like 2 years gives us enough positives over a yearly release.

I feel like 2+ years of dev cycle of sports games like these do more harm then good. I feel like more time is wasted because more time is given, I did not see a big enough jump from last game to this game AT RELEASE, and i don't think we will see a good enough difference this time after 2 years.

Id prefer yearly releases, which means a constant new player base that keeps the experience fresh as well as content. I dont think people would even notice madden 19 from madden 21, just like they hardly notice any difference between madden 18 and 19.

In terms of graphics, I'd agree the jump from 2 to 3 was very little in the beginning. But, combat system - complete revamp

The devs have hinted that they are currently developing a new game. No idea when it will be released.
