That's false, the majority of high level players I know are huge fans of MMA and want the best for it.

There are some who are hesitant to implement change though, for example when duck uppercuts were a thing I advocated hard against the head movement system and some defended it, but the majority of players don't.

The truth is, unfortunately, a pure sim wouldn't do very well for entertainment. People just don't play fighting games like people fight in real life. Nobody feels the pain, so they tend to be more aggressive. There is no handfighting and proper feints yet, but we are as close to it as we have ever been. There are a lot of systems in place that make this the best MMA game ever so far imo.

I still support the idea of a sim mode, but please understand that the high level players who are currently dominating will most likely dominate sim mode with a similar style with just minor variance. There is no perfect style at the moment, you can be a defensive fighter with great grappling like Advaita or a high offense pressure fighter like Edparker and Preunited.

If you adjust stamina settings, you need to adjust block and damage. So if it becomes that, the player base would essentially play the same style that worked for them anyways, just with quicker consequences and we would see more KOs.

Yeah, my mistake... High level guys are the best since UFC undisputed, what I tryed to say is that they play a major hole in the war between arcade/sim... unfortunaly , outside fighting was almost nonexistent because some of them say that i'ts "running" or "not fun"

Its not just "high level guys" that say that though. There are alot of people who really dont care about outside fighting or strike output totals and they arent all high level players.

Stamina is an issue and since they nerved knees to the body its a bigger issue. Everbody can fight like Holloway. Constant in your face combo after combo pace. It is silly

Body hooks need a buff. If you feel like stamina isnt punishing enough. Please vote in my thread

Combos are the problem with stamina, nothing else. Body shots need a speed buff, nothing else.

I think both are an issue. The bigger issue is that there isn't a bigger long term stamina loss on strikes. It allows almost every fighter to throw recklessly.

The body buff would also help

Fighters throw feints and single shots as a part of the feeling out process along with them being more accurate and being better for your stamina. On this game people forget that and go straight to combos due to there being little repercussions.

The game is just highly lacking when it comes to defensive striking or grappling. I can't tell you how many times I've weaved through punches and landed counter hooks with nothing happening to my opponent, they just move backwards ,at the same speed, while their stamina starts to regenerate from 0-100 LITERALLY. This is the SIXTH UFC game and the FOURTH MMA game for EA Sports and they have completely removed any defensive options from off of your back during grappling. You could catch strikes from off of your back in UD3 and in EA MMA you could gain wrist control on one of your opponents arms and you could also party strikes from your back. I know EA UFC 3 has an arm trap but it's so sloppy and slow. The sixth game in the franchise and they've removed everything that made the previous games actual fight simulators. Unbelievable.

They listen to high level ranked more than anyone because they have put the time into learn the game and have mastered it. That doesn't mean that they don't listen to Sim or casual players.
