Head health not regenerating glitch?

Two times yesterday I had a situation early in the fight where I land a decent strike and my opponents head health goes half way down, then we’re circling for at least 10 seconds and his head health doesn’t refill, I throw a jab, lead hook, rear head kick, he blocks all 3 strikes but the two punches destroy his block(early in the fight, no ones block broken down at this point) and the head kick knocks him out. I tried to get the video the second time it happened but messed up and lost it. Has anyone come across this?

Apparently not. I've noticed this as well, but I think it is relative to what kind of knockdown it was.
