I’m sure we’ve all ran into players who do these things

Launch overhand after overhand followed by either a hook or double uppercuts

Launch long 5 hit combos praying for hit stun into muy thai plum

Pressure you constantly with alternating knees and elbows

Throw point blank flying knees after getting rocked

Spam double uppercuts constantly

Try to sub you with a striker like Connor off their back

Play as a fighter and don’t have any earthly clue to that fighters style aka picking Thompson and throwing nothing but hooks in close range or throw 125 strikes per round as Romero

Perform Mr Smith head movements in the pocket with no context to opponents striking pattern, movement, etc

Pick Frost, Bishop, Lee, or White

Those are the most toxic players IMO.

The nerve they must have to actually expose my weaknesses and get the win.

Everything you said is spot on. This 1 really gets to me though.

I had a guy using Machida the other day and just pressuring the entire time with non stop combinations.

I was rolling my eyes so hard it actually started to hurt.

Just had a crazy fight I'm uploading against the guy who started that stuff (Oblique Kick to Spin Kick)

My personal hatred stems from players that hit the combinations that benefit with all the tracking issues in-game.

I have a personal gameplay disdain, for when you back sway a hook, and it extends past the normal extension of the human shoulder, and it connects. It is friggin annoying. Hooks should hit you when you're swaying, not when you're ducking (height disparities aside) and they should not hit if you back sway.

Hooks being registered as straight strikes is an issue that was apparently resolved, but not really.

Also, straights that don't fully extend apparently have stopping power, when they shouldn't, another issue that people love to take advantage of.

knee + elbow combo.

Spamming Jab uppercut lead hook whenever pressured.

Not using fakes.

Quitting after being taken down.

Spamming small steps to drain stamina (Richochet9)

Tap dancing. I freaking hate tap dancing under the guise of footwork.

It looks awful, I assume they're trying to do what I see folk call "footsies" or what I call footwork but it just looks like their character is having a seizure trying to move in 4 different directions at once.

That said, when done right and SUBTLY it looks beautiful and really shows off the animation quality. I love how Holloway and a few others even have an L-step.

But my biggest pet peeve is the people who ape spaz the **** out of the movement stick at all times to "mask" their attacks and try to glitch the hit detection by constantly changing range. It looks like pure jank.

Again, I love anyone who uses footwork properly and realistically, but if you jank around on the spot with two left feet like a whacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube man then I will try to make our fight as unenjoyable as humanly possible for you.

I play on that instinct to get takedowns all the time. Good strikers literally cannot stop themselves from throwing a kick after I throw one.

Not online ...but people who go for the head kick soon as the buzzer goes knowing fully well that if your aren't blocking it's going to hit.

Still continue to run even when clearly losing.

Spam side kicks/jab - body front kick then driving takedown.

Spam double legs.

Use only jab-uppercut-hook or knees when in the pocket.

Constantly use spinning kick combos with zabit and Holloway.

How does one “spam” double legs? By simply shooting a lot of them? I don’t understand what’s wrong with that. Especially on EA UFC 3, where the stamina tax for shooting TDs is harsher than on any previous MMA game.

What if your opponent wants to grapple? Double legs are a good way to do that.

The same way you spam anything. I'm not saying it's unstoppable or anything but the OP asked people to list what scrubs do and some just constantly try to double leg you when you come towards them. The scrubs always make it very obvious when they start dancing around the outside and wait on you to come to them and keep trying every time.
