@ pappy knuckles , Well done well said .

If it's part of a brand new system of hand fighting I'm all for it .

It's just crazy as now defensive tools are seriously lacking when someone decides to go go all ham on you.

    For example

Fighter B gets a hit stun and backs out of the pocket ...fighter B often gets a free body kick ( God help you if they have a body snatcher perk )

Fighter A gets a hit stun and lunges to the side ...as moving backwards in a straight line can be a death sentence , but Fighter B doesn't need to reset , an uppercut will track fighter B and more more .

You can parry all you want ...but tracking is has be tuned in this game .

Now you not only have to slip away from the over hand but from the three uppercuts that will follow can often track your head .

The tracking in this game is pretty bad. A lot of the strikes I feel we should be able to avoid are like heat-seeking missiles. Parries are a must-have in the new game.

The thing that irritates me the most about the laser punches is that opponents can cover an incredible amount of distance with a lot of these strikes. I fought an Andre Bishop earlier today and his range with the overhand was insane. When you add-in the accuracy and effectiveness of forward-moving combos to the mix, it can be tough out here.

I was labbing some stationary stuff the other day in practice, we started in the middle of the cage and we ended up with my back against the cage because his stationary combos actually made him shuffle his feet forward every time. I hope they do fix tracking and add proper parries, I just also hope they don't use that as some excuse not to address realistic stamina and damage as well.

Stamina , tracking , footwork , clinching , ground game ...all of the first three are a must .

We might not see a change until UFC 4 .

*Appropriate damage and stamina taxing for the respective fighters.
Another important thing is one stamina bar, not one for striking and one for grappling. There's many things really. I'm also not talking about UFC 3, tracking issues are probably the only ones that can be addressed for this game. But for UFC 4 - absolutely.

Something else - the diversity between fighters and divisions should be embraced/pursued. DaisukEasy said Stipe would break if HW had realistic stamina because he has no stamina or grappling issues to make up for his heavy punches. The thing is, most people at HW will have that KO power. Trade blows at your own peril, Stipe could very well be on the receiving end of such a shot. In the grappling dimension, there are guys like Werdum, Oleinik, DC, Cain, Blaydes that could challenge him. Competitive players also ask how can this be competitive - well, why not have different ESFL championships? HW, LHW, MW, all the way to FLW. They would all behave differently (some more than others) and being the ESFL HW champ would be different than being the WW ESFL champ, etc, etc.
