Whatever they have to do to get 60fps across the board I'd probably be ok. The crowd can become cardboard cutouts for all i care. cheap ****ty shadows usually make a big difference on old pc hardware.

Agree with Pappy, if there is a game with worse a more laggy online experience, i've never played it and wouldn't want to try.

The CPUs in these consoles are too weak for them to get true 60 hz updates alongside all the other stuff going on in the game. It's honestly a miracle how good the game looks on console as it is. You have to remember that these consoles were already outdated and underpowered hardware when they released 6 years ago. If they want to keep parity and backwards compatibility going forward I don't see them doing this unless they split the community or compromise on matchmaking so that matchups between people on newer gen consoles with good connections get the higher tier model. Lots of trouble for them either way.

Personally I believe the Huge input delay is a result of 3 things,

        1. MOCAP, motion capture uses a full range of motion for the strike, so in turn this "Small" gif like animation takes more time than the older animations that they invented

2.Game Play ENGINE: The engine for this game needs a Upgrade Badly, unfortunately they weren't given funding to do it AND it takes about 2 full years to upgrade and incorporate a new game play engine. its a huge undertaking but the benefits may be well worth it as UFC is starting to become one of the most popular sports IRL

        3. Distance from opponent: Since the game isnt region locked, the distance will create a larger ping (The ping is the reaction time of your connection–how fast you get a response after you've sent out a request. A fast ping means a more responsive connection, especially in applications where timing is everything. Ping is measured in milliseconds
the farther you are away from your opponent the longer it will take for your fighter to respond to your input, this was addressed by adding a ping Bar graph for Ranked play, I believe that if we are going to allow these extremely high ping connections than that Meter should be in all online fights no matter what the mode. if the ping is high enough you wont be able to deny nothing off the animations,
So a Connection meter in UT and even Quick match should be appropriate

Thats my take I hope some one else can chime in some solution based feedback.
and As for the video above in the OP the guys responsiveness is fast IMO what takes so long is the MOCAP animation

is this like trying to simulate reach?
like fighters with more reach , has more range on their strikes but they come out slower than fighters with short reach

Yeah, also short guys have super range in their forward strikes... it’s not easy to use a tall guy, but some guys are great at it, so it’s not impossible

Wow had a bunch of matches today, pure hot garbage. its like no matter what i'm doing, it feels like i'm striking under water. head movement not working, collision hitting me from 8+ inches out EVERY strike sooo slow, constant dropped inputs, non-feinted strikes that should and cancels without r2 input. what the **** happens in matches like this? Reset all my stuff here. Matches show 5 bar connection, and still feels so disconnected and unresponsive. Guess i'm taking a break again this is just unplayable quite frankly.

Try jab spamming till they move their head. Jab is the quickest way to make someone expose themselves to vulnerability. Since theirs no blocked stamina tax block breaking will always be meta and not accuracy. Top players like kenetic and coty dankh are jab spammers. They just want to break your block

I'm on ps4. I don't know about jab spamming, i've fought lots of top guys, Preunited for example is good at non stop level changes and spams non stop. That doesn't really help with what i'm talking about which is lag and unresponsiveness. like i had a match the other day where jab leg kick would result in either just a jab or just a leg kick.
