    Why is the check hook so bad in this game?

    The timing on it is far to strict. Going over the top needs to be more of a thing. Also performing a check hook sometimes queues advanced back lunge

    100% percent agreed, I got the vulnerability changed a while back so it worked better against rear uppercuts but hasn't been changed since iirc.

      Because there's no hook range so it skews with the effectiveness of the hook. Definitely needs to be added in UFC 4.

          Exactly this. Range is one of the crucial variables in determining whether or not a hook beats a straight and that seems to have been totally left out of the equation.

          I’m hesitant to use the term “broken” but if the shoe fits...
