    Character selection preferences

In game character models or static camera shots?
    Moving or static character models?
Clean media day shots or action

Other sports games mostly convey the character select screen with action shots of their athletes, something I feel captures the soul of the competitor and something I would love to see in our next game

I feel like we have way too many fantastic action shots in this sport not to use them, they add not only a cool flare but a sense of personality added to the fighter you're using

If I'm picking up this game for the first time and I want to brawl, I dont have to look at the stats, if I see this guy, I'm going to think holy crap who is this savage? I'm going to bust skulls with him
These EA UFC games have some emptiness to its soul and it lacks some personality for being the video game to the most exciting and personality driven sport in the world

Imagine these shots being used for the fighters, senses of nostalgia and admiration come up for their tremendous performances and careers, it adds a sense of feel to the game and its fighters

On the other foot, static shots used on media days also look incredibly clean, which this sport is driving towards day by day

So do you guys prefer models, moving models like in UD, static shots, or action shots?

    I agree.

I personally would prefer moving models like in UD3. It's obviously gonna be a canned animation playing on loop but it's so cool. Even something simple, like the moving model while creating a new fighter would suffice.

That said, if that cant be achieved then yeah... "Action shots" would be much better than what we have now.

The animated models would be my second pick if they fix these damn bodies. Strange looking flat chests, some guys have such little muscle definition compared to real life, Paul Felder is skinny fat with love handles for christs sake. Many of them just look ugly or inaccurate, it takes me out of the game

Another cool aspect of the action shots is that a few seconds after seeing the real fighter you get to see him/her in game and make a quick comparison, which sounds extremely satisfying, at least for me.
