    Move levels should matter more

I think making move levels more important will help add diversity amongst playstyles.

The way move levels were incorporated into catching kicks should apply to other areas.

-If parries ever return it should impact the parry window
-It should impact how far you push someone back with side/front kicks
-It should impact how long you can stun someone with lunging jabs/straights

Also I hope they change the way move levels currently affect stats.

    -Have level 1 moves increase stamina consumption(maybe 3%) and decrease power(maybe 5%)
-Have level 2 moves be neutral so no change to stats
-Have levels 3-5 work the way they currently do.

This would encourage people to build their gameplans around level 3 and higher strikes while actively avoiding level 1 strikes.

Personally I'd like to see level 2 moves be the standard whereas level 1 is reserved for moves that the fighter can physically do but have little impact. Nick Diaz spin kicks come to mind.

If they can't implement ugly/okay/great animations, this sort of distinction should definitely make it in. Actually, this sort of distinction should be in there alongside a potential animation distinction, it's only logical. But yeah, ideally moves should actually look bad if they're bad, not be bad under the hood only. The player should see it play out and be like "holy crap, that was horrendous, it can get me into serious trouble", whereas the opponent could look to pounce like Rockhold did after Weidman's spin.

This is actually a great idea.

You mean Elias Theodorou's entire moveset?

The more variety the better IMO --- as was mentioned earlier, 'ugly/average/great' animations for different move levels would be awesome.

It would correlate with ACCURACY and SPEED, not just DAMAGE and STAMINA. If you have a sloppy overhand strike....yes it will have less damage and cost you more stamina, but it should ALSO be SLOWER and have less ACCURACY.

In conjunction w/ more emphasis on move levels, would love to see a few more Attributes added/re-added to the franchise.....Left Hand Power vs. Right Hand Power....and Kick Speed vs. Punch Speed....being a couple examples (but not all of them)

I’d like to see individual speed for each limb as well, or have the power stat influence the speed of strikes from that limb. OR move levels that change based on stance to achieve the same goal, if move levels affect speed.

Definitely. Lots of opportunity out there. I highly doubt the devs will add TOO many more attributes (if any ) though, because they need Ultimate Team to be able to fully support all the different stats.

Of course, more stat categories = more cards/packs required = more $$$ for EA......so maybe there's no excuse

I came here to post a mix of these 2, but they pretty much nailed it.

So Im going straight into Career mode with the ideas up top... Major flaw in all UFC game career modes was, that you start your UFC or MMA career with a limited moveset. You have to train at a gym to get moves. But 95% of todays fighters have trained their entire life in Mixed Martial Arts. When you take a Taekwondo fighter you get the boxing set and a high kick and a spinning heel kick or something like that. Thats all? You need to learn everything else from scratch? You dont learn 4 moves in 10 years of training. You learn dozens of kicks and punches. The goal is to perfect those kicks and punches... So long story short the new move level idea, would be great for career mode, too.

Not just moves, fighters enter the UFC with big KO power, or great stamina or a good chin, or fast hands, or a mixture of these. It's what brought them to the UFC. Perhaps a point distribution system at the start is the simplest way to address this. Someone made a really good suggestion for how career stats should work a while ago. In fact, there's been so many good ideas on so many things that are buried pages back, they should be dug up.

Rpm is really a waist as it stands right now. It's kinda sad how little fighters actually have their own moveset when it was advertised before the game came out each fighter has their own unique combos etc. For the love of God man stop being cheap and pay these fighters to do their own mocap. If your not investing in esports make the damn game better.
