What ufc 3 can learn from mk11

Mk11 is the best it's been since mk9. Heres a few things I think ufc can greatly benefit from.

    Practice mode tools
Besides being able to record your inputs which ufc has already done you can set their health defensive meters etc to whatever you want. I would like to be able to practice my defense in a rocked state or with low stamina. Everyone is good at the game till you get them tired. Also practice with a friend is vital. I should be able to record anything I want. Whether its striking or grappling. If this cant be accomplished via strike recorder than allow us to do it by position. Also NRS make a huge effort to explain every mechanic no matter how minuscule in its tutorial along with an on screen controller guide how to perform the action being taught.

    Spectator mode.

This mode is vital to esports. In the esfl it would be amazing not having to go through someone's stream just to broadcast the fights.

    Esports.

While I deeply respect the dev's and their hard work this area needs improvement. Weve been essentially **** on as far as esports and the competitive side goes. It's a huge reason for the games growth being held back. Noone wants to compete and play a game at a high level for zero rewards. Ufc 3 sells more than NHL yet top NHL's players can make 10 to 50 k a tournament. It's unfair, wrong, and shows a huge lack of appreciation. Treat us better. Were who the whole game is built around.

All of those would be great but the real reason there was no esports for UFC 3 is because the game was/is really unbalanced. They couldnt do a real money event with such an unbalanced game. It worked good for UFC 2, cause the game was way more balanced IMO (definitely not perfect but better balanced). Also UFC2 was more fun to watch and what you need for a successful esport is AUDIENCE.

Practice Mode --- really hope they improve this, especially as it relates to practicing Grappling/Clinch positions/etc.

      Spectator Mode --- great idea

eSports --- ESFL has done a great job of getting the hardcore community rolling. Always wish I had been able to participate in their League, just had conflict each Weds. night so never signed up. Still, I think the ESFL community is primed & ready to break-out and become a legit eSports league....or the basis of one....but who will pay? That's the question lol as you said, need Spectators to get $$$ and not that many casuals are interested in watching competitive UFC, yet at least.

Who pays/funds the NHL tournaments? Haven't really checked that out.

Too bad Gamestop is nearly going out of business.....they had $$$ to throw around back in the day for Fight Night Tournament at all their local shops, was awesome and I'm sure it got lots of kids in the shops interested in the game.

Just need an Angel Investor. If I ever have $50K to spare I'll defintely throw my own tournament. May take a few more years tho

If you find that angel investor. Plz tell him to slide into my DMs. 😁😁

We do have some exciting stuff planned for ESFL though.

Hopefully the practice mode tools are something you push for. I am honored to be a part of the esfl.

The biggest thing is practice mode and educational tools. No game comes close to this
