Maybe I didnt correlate my thoughts correctly. But I think they should do less damage then they currently do when rocked by fighters not known for ko power. If I make your arms tired how are you going to ko me?

Re: Why do fatigue strikes do full damage
I do agree that it does sometimes feel like tired fighters hit with too much power though, more so in Ultimate Team especially.EA SPORTS UFC 3:

Re: Why do fatigue strikes do full damage
If you're gassed your grappling speed is crap, your head movement is crap, your fighter movement is crap, and your strike speed is crap. I'm okay with some power in your Hail Marys.
I would like to see the stamina meter go all the way to 0 though.Comment

Yes - easily one of the most frustrating things and common enough that you just simply shouldn't even be able to throw one when rocked.Antonio Rodrigo "Minotauro" Nogueira - UFC Hall of FameComment

Re: Why do fatigue strikes do full damage
I disagree. I think accuracy should be really low, but throwing a flying knee after being hurt is a real thing in MMA. Conor vs Khabib comes to mind.Comment

Re: Why do fatigue strikes do full damage
Thats diffrent because that was a flash knockdown. And conor got a chin (when hes fresh and is not gassed).Comment

Re: Why do fatigue strikes do full damage
That was after a knockdown wasn’t it? Not really the same, he was recovered. Plus that knee didn’t exactly do much either way. Rocked flying knees are out of control lol.Comment

Re: Why do fatigue strikes do full damage
I understand Geoff’s point but you have two things working against you in this game; people throw at a rate way exceeding that of a real fight, and they’ll keep doing it until way more drained than reality (maybe kimbo / dada5000) but if their stamina is really that low then we basically ARE talking kimbo vs. Dada at which point I think 25% is probably high but a better compromiseComment

Re: Why do fatigue strikes do full damage
I've seen way too many fatigued/very fatigued (<50%) strikes do way too much damage, way too many times.
We talk about reduction in Speed...we talk about reduction in Power....all fine and well.
But, I also think a reduction in ACCURACY should be a big part of being gassed out.
Sure, Ngannou @ 50% stamina could still kill me with an uppercut. But it would be one sloppy, ugly uppercut, that could probably be avoided pretty easily by a decent fighter with 70% stamina and just a small amount of defensive skill.
Definitely would like to see Accuracy/Hit Detection play a bigger role in the future.PSN: Boiler569
