Is it the PS4 controller or a PS4 vs PS4 Pro player? I’ve noticed certain matches online just feel more sluggish than others. Not from internet connection, it’s just mildly slower moving and my inputs are even more frustrating to deal with. I still have a regular PS4 and I’ve had more matches lately that just have this sluggish feel to them even though it’s not necessarily lag or that stutter you get from a bad internet connection.

Theres many people who have done these experiments and recorded their data. You can find it all over the internet.
Xbox has more input lag with their controllers than ps4.Comment

As far as deadzones:
Ps4 default is .12
Xbox default is .20
A smaller deadzone meaning higher sensitivity.
So while I agree something is going on. It's not that either.PSN: Lord__Hazanko

No, Zhunter said he thought it was deadzones, but that is just an assumption. No one knows what is actually happening, only what they feel is happening.
On paper though, Ps4 has less input lag, and smaller deadzones, which should mean, on paper, it would be more responsive.
My guess is maybe something to do with the way PS4 processes or streams it's data for online gaming? I dont know how all that stuff works though.
In a vacuum, the ps4 should be more responsive.Last edited by Haz____; 02-13-2020, 10:34 PM.PSN: Lord__Hazanko

I'm not saying youre wrong. I agree with you. I experience lag and delayed inputs constantly on ps4. Get hit with body and leg kicks I easily saw coming and blocked. Fail to deny transitions I saw a mile away and hit the denial for. Dropped inputs on combos. Crazy frustrating stuff.
We just don't know what exactly is causing it as far as I know.PSN: Lord__Hazanko
