Re: UFC Gameplay and Tuning Closed Beta

Ea has announced Madden's release date. It will be coming on August 25.
So, Can UFC4 release the same month? I think it's impossible.

Alexander also had multiple assault charges and spent 15 months in prison by the time he hit the cover as well

This. Story hardly made headlines and did nothing to hurt Khabib’s standing in the company as a top star. I can’t imagine EA refusing to put him on the cover for that alone, especially if they believe him as the cover athlete will help sell. I’m not saying it will be Khabib, but you gotta think he’s on the shortlist being likely the most recognizable current fighter behind Conor.

In Other news, with the beta being so close, I can see the leaked release date of EA UFC 4, being in August!

A youtube rapper called "Dax" will have his music feutured in the next game and his DMs were leaked, talking about the game coming out in August.

So the beta being this month, means it's reasonable to expect the game to launch in August.

I hope they lift the NDA tomorrow when they announce the game, i'm personally going to pick Zacks brain apart about the grappling, if you're reading this, you better be ready.

Maybe the the weightclass is heavyweight.

There's the chance that Fury and Joshua are included in the beta for stat and move suggestions.

+ guys like Jones and Gus at HW and Rozenstruik, Harris, and Ivanvov as new fighters.

I think Fury and Joshua being included is the least likely outcome here. I don't see them giving us access to characters that are seemingly going to be unlockable characters when the game drops. They're also characters that are more meant for attracting others to buy the game. I don't think they're at all concerned about putting those guys in the beta.

LW is probably most likely IMO, followed by both WW and MW.

Thats probably true, I wouldn't be surprised.

Yeah LW is a decent choice, maybe Khabib is on the cover.

                      I wouldn't mind BW either.

Why are people so concerned with grappling? Barely anyone uses it online...I cant start thinking about any other issues if "physics" based knockouts aren't back

No one uses it because it sucks.

People grappled more in Undisputed 3.

NDA wont be lifted when they announce it. We can only discuss aspects of the game that they specifically announce. So if they announce a new grappling system, the GCs can discuss it. If its just a trailer...the Gcs cant.

Yes! For me, grappling is the make-or-break issue as to whether or not I'm picking up UFC 4. I want to strike and grapple, but the old grappling system has grown stale and boring to me and I have no interest in playing with it anymore.

If there's a whole new grappling system, I'm in. If it's the same **** as UFC 2 and UFC 3, I'm out.

So...here's hoping the team's been innovating.

New grappling system and better knockout physics are a must for me.
