Don't get me wrong I feel you, and I understand how long the series has been around. I have Fire Pro World for this exact reason, so I'd love it too. I also didn't know it was something heavily requested, I can see why you were initially hot about it now.
I guess I'm just trying to imagine how this would come about and what it would work like in game, if it was gonna be anything worth actually doing. Because I get it's tedious to do it yourself, but I'm talking more on their end when I say "actually worth doing".
You'd need to be able to have fighters either debut or retire, or else there'd be no real progression. So they'd have to age, injuries/health would have to be a factor somehow so somebody doesn't get Cyborg Santos'd and fight the next month. Probably some sort of personality system to dictate how they deal with you when you negotiate, what fights they will take against who. Popularity so different matchups could bring different amounts of crowds, maybe even venues affect that they way they do IRL. (EX: NYC coming out for Iaquinta, Weidman, etc.)
I feel like if it's just picking how much I pay people, who fights who, with nothing to keep track of of that, then it's pointless. I personally don't trust them to come up with anything that could handle all those factors, at the same time as doing everything else. But I do understand why it would be great. I'm not making an argument against it I'm just trying to reason out in my head why it might not exist already.
