Submission system is insanely bad

I have yet to defend a single submission.
Maybe I suck, but it's completely impossible to 'smoothly' move the cursor thing around the circle without making it enormous, making it impossible to escape subs at all online.

On a ps4 controller, it's impossible to be 'precise', it's way too sensitive.

The old system was infinitely better than this.

I struggled with it at first but you its simple once you practice. You have to be very precise with your movements and move relatively slow.

I haven't gotten a chance to play it yet, would you describe it as similar to the undisputed 3 and WWE 2K systems

I got my code at 11pm here so I'm gonna boot up the beta tomorrow. Trying to go in with an open mind despite the Reddit backlash to the game

I wouldn’t call it good, but it’s way better than the system from UFC 3.

The choke subs are hard to escape. Its probably because everyone's bar is bigger when they move too fast. The offensive sub bar should get smaller for the same.

I know how it is supposed to work.
However, if the whole idea of this game was to appeal to casuals....this system does the exact opposite. It looks like it was made by a 5 year old, and it's really, really janky

Yeah, I'm not here to argue about the system. Was just saying that its not "impossible" because I just defended multiple subs on the beta.

But if the idea is to move slow then how do you keep the opponents bar off of yours? They can just follow you with ease if you have to move slow to keep your bar from getting long again.

With that said, they have to move slow too and you can adjust your movement (moving in different directions) to avoid them.

It takes practice. I'm not saying I like the system. I just objected to the OP saying its impossible.

I dont think the attackers bar gets anywhere near small enough compared to how big the defense bar gets. I understand it, im using it, i havent been choked out in a while but I still dont like it.

Is there easy submission option like in UFC 3 as that is all i used last time which was great not looking at mini games.
