Re: EA Sports UFC 4 Star Rating System Explained - Top 50 Fighters Slowly Being Revea

I’m so confused what is the basis for this ranking system? And can we get away from stats and star based crap and actually have pros and cons or fight styles? Like say Woodley is a low out out counter striker/wrestler so if you throw 120 strikes in the first round at a 30% accuracy rate you will be dead by the next?

I dont understand what is going on with this game. Its just like WWE2k20 its a disaster and one of the worst games ever made. The same exact thing happened on release. Does anyone know what the deal is, because I am about to cancel my preorder.

always base on the strar rating.
I believe it's been stated that the CAF base models you can choose from are preset (stat and move builds), no maxing out or changing things in those regards. Also that they will be around an A- fighter. So not the best, but viable to be competitive.

At least that Dom model ain't too bad. Hopefully they've updated more models than we are all expecting, however I'm not holding my breath.

I fully expect to see skinny Yoel Romero in the game.

I like the star system. It doesn’t bother me. It’s literally no different from before except we have stars instead of numbers as overalls. Makes the overall more simple, and at the same time we still have actual number ratings for individual stats.

The star system goes well with the new UI too. It looks great.

What do new models matter when you'll be playing against Spider-Man every other fight?

I'm not convinced that's gonna be the case. It seems to be clear that ranked players don't want to use CAFs in ranked, and that people who do want to use CAFs, don't tend to play ranked. So in theory, when you play ranked (if this holds true) you shouldn't come up against many CAFs, because the people who use CAFs mostly won't be playing ranked.

Well UT players used CAFs and had their ranked mode.

They’ve been displaced so where would they go?

I think it’s a situation where we’re forced to play with CAF ranked players.

That used to be the case, because CAF's weren't allowed on ranked, but that's out of the window now.

I expect at least 50% of your ranked matches will be against CAF's, but we'll see.

                            Obviously.

But in this context he is 42nd best fighter in this game when realistically he is the second or third best fighter in the toughest divison in the UFC (with a win against of the people ahead of him). Just seems a bit low to me. Although I do see the point people made about legends taking spots.

Eh, don't know why I'm bothered ill buy the ****in thing anyway.

Ima start a gofund me page for the surgery on my knees because I CANT stand playing against a ronald mcdonald, spiderman, or deformed looking cafs. Y cant they make a separate rank for the circus cafs and leave regular rank to the real fighters?...
