    Connection optimized for UFC 4?

Nothing ruins a fight more than a laggy opponent so I ask have y'all optimized your connection in preparation for launch as I have? If you haven't tackled your bufferbloat yet its likely the culprit of your lag. DSLreports has a bufferbloat speedtest that will tell you were you stand. If you're playing on WiFi do us all a favor and purchase a long run ethernet cable.

Edit: when you run this test you should be hardwired with no activity on your network to yield and accurate result

    My results:

Note that may help others with this -

This didn't work for.me until I clicked on the one that uses IP addresses instead of https.

Also, I scored a 28 ms for Idle, 73 ms for down, and 53 ms for upload.

        Quality A+, Bufferbloat B

495.6 mbps down, 941 mbps up

A second test gave me much better results. Very strange:

450.9 mbps down, 708 mbps up

          A Bufferbloat, A+ Quality

Idle 27 ms, down 44 ms, upload 41 ms

Down went up to a max of 96 ms

Upload went to a max of 63 ms

If I take these results over the previous ones, I should be okay for online gaming of some sort (I'm not buying UFC 4

Setting up QoS on your router is how you can reduce those times to next to nothing. This prohibits your connection from skyrocketing when someone starts Netflix up etc.

I have gigabit internet but have to scale mine down to 185/12 for it to behave properly and not get saturated when activity happens on my network.

Maybe I'm wrong..... but I don't feel like this is a flex. I feel like this is just something to help the online community.

And to make sure I get some quality match ups against opponents. Y'all remember ty202039492 or whatever his name was with his snow storm story?

What does any of this have to do with Bruce Buffer being bloated?

Excellent execution of the weird flex line. [emoji23]

I've never heard of Buffer Bloat. I'll check out this video and my connection results in the morning. Good looks.

I experience some of the most garbage connections in the world when playing UFC specifically. If this can limit some of that, I'm all for it.

Was just talking about him today.

Dude was either a lying scumbag or trapped in the 2004 movie "The Day After Tomorrow."

                        Definitely a lying scumbag.
