Yeah sounds great and all except if you guess wrong once you're done. Meanwhile your opposition can alternate wildly and get cheap easy wins.

It's basically all of online ranked right now. Race to posture. Pathetic

The ground and pound still lacks some impact, especially the straight strikes, hooks are a bit better. Plus sometimes punches don't make a sound, making these KOs even more anticlimactic.

I'm not gonna judge the balance of it because I still suck badly and it could be an uneducated opinion.
Maybe there should be different levels of how dangerous ground and pound is, like from half guard should be a little more dangerous than full guard, from mount should be a little more dangerous than from half guard.

Right now many fights are ending with KOs from guard.

It's 100% not working right just now it feels like a queue system and if you don't input it all straight away then you can't get seamless GnP when you want. It's so unresponsive it is unreal.

Mad how things like this can get through testing

I really like being able to sweep/stand-up/etc. by implementing superior GnP Defense.....

but everything is so button mashy in these positions!!!

Wish the strike queue would go away completely. Or limit to 2 strikes in queue or something.

Would like to see strikes slow down a bit after you've thrown 3 or 4 as well....

Stamina drain "seems" OK ... the bar goes down a lot ... but the punches still hit HARD and are fast as hell even at 50% or less stamina !!

So .... it's a start but neeeds major tuning IMO

I've also found what seems like a Bug where my 'standard block' (Hold R2) ... after trying to sway ... does NOT work!

My block power stays at 100% (full green bar) .... and all damage bleeds-thru .... pretty sure it's a bug. Hope someone looks into it

This 1000%. On top of what he said if you are rocked and dropped Its over if you end up in a gnp position against a competent player.

Ground and Pound is terrible. The meta of it hardly resembles what you should do in a ground striking situation in mma. In no way is the defensive player allowed to close or create space, forcing a grappling/wrestling exchange like you should do irl. Did Edmond Tarverdyan have input on this? “Head mooment” HEAD MOOment!” This system needs work badly.
