EA Access:Trial Ended Before Timer Ran Out

My trial just ran out in the middle of an awesome fight. My timer said I had 1 hour left. Has anyone else experience this? Super pissed...

Yup. I noticed it twice. Once when I logged I had three hours, I came back to the console and it was like ten minutes less.


Same when I closed it down with five mins left after a fight. Came back an hour later after eating and those five mins were gone.


Before anyone asks, both times I closed the application and then turned my PS4 off. The timer shouldn't have been running.

I had the same problem

I turned off the wifi before turning it off and instead of losing 10-15 mins I only lost 5

If you turn off the wifi in game theoretically you could have an infinite trial. The only thing is, after each fight it kicks you out of the game and makes you turn on the wifi again. That way each game takes up 3 mins of trial time instead of 20

It's because you played the game during installation. The timer inside the game resets after installation but the timer outside doesnt.

If you're going to practice mode for any length of time disable your internet connection on PS4

Edit:

Eventually it'll kick you out of the app and say connect to internet is off

It's because you played the game during installation. The timer inside the game resets after installation but the timer outside doesnt.

I actually waited for it to install completely before I ever started the app. I think on PS4 it keeps some sort of global app timer, so I guess the timer within the game doesn’t matter.

Nope, the game was 100% installed before I launched it the first time. I know the difference between the full install and play now while it installs.
