How do you change shorts on career mode?

I’m stuck wearing the board shorts in my fights but I have vale tudo in my sparring. How do I get the ufc vale tudo shorts for my fights?

You can't unless you use the 'vanity option' and wear them during training as well, making all the clothing options completely worthless.

I don't know who conceptualized this but it's poorly thought out.

I wonder if it was a lack of time or a lack of forethought, but I agree they could have done so much better.

There's quite a bit of sloppiness around the edges of career mode. It's really frustrating.

Like my strawweight fighter has a mismatching top and bottom; she wears blue shorts and a plain black top. A lot of the CAF's I'm fighting also have mismatching tops and bottoms; they wear black shorts and the white UFC X-strap top.

Yeah, I've noticed women's tops don't go well with any of the 'designer' textures they've made and are just plain, making it look atrocious as there is no plain option for bottom gear. For that career I just went with default UFC gear.
