Post here if you intentionally ko your bjj sparring partner

    Prob my least fav partner.

Oh. You want to train submissions? Have fun dealing with this Stephen Thompson reenactment.

Ah, need to work on your clinch throws? Better prepare for these single legs

The only way to train BJJ is in fights. Don't stand up, just reverse and work from the bottom. I figured that out around fight 39 in my career. Luckily it wasn't my jiujitsu ace heavyweight, he's next.

I put my BJJ training partner on his butt with a hook one day....he landed in the seated position with his back up against an invisible cage. I swooped in doing that FTF punch against the (invisible) cage for about 40 accelerated seconds until trianing was over.

It's really annoying if you want to train BJJ Sweeps/Reversals but your partner won't go for TDs, therefore making it REALLY hard to end up on the bottom. How do you train it in fights then?

Certain guys go for takedowns the entire fight, so I let them take me down into full guard and then block transitions (reversals) and then I will sweep them eventually (sweeps). For transitions I'd also go to rubber guard (transition) use elbows and then they'll move to full guard and I just repeat.

Ended up with sweeps at 3 stars, reversals at 4 stars, transitions at 4 stars, orthodox chokes 5 stars and most other subs 3/4 stars. My guy was a kickboxer and I didn't do that until the last few fights.

I KO all my training partners in the last two weeks of camp. They always come back the next fight camp lol I even KO the fighters I invite in that teach moves I don't want. I thought it would create a rivalry and people would call me out but of course that is not the case smh. We cant even initiate the social media trash talk to make some want to fight us. Its basically the same career mode from last year.

Can you change sparring difficulty or is it tied to career difficulty? Almost 20 fights in and all sparring still on easy.

it's tied to career difficulty. If you go up to hard, you'll see hard and pro training.

Thanks. Had a feeling but didn’t test it.

If you KO a fighter and fight them later in your career you get the option to drop the footage of the KO to build hype and rivalry.
