Nope, I respect certain players so
Im not willing to name them but I have had fights where It went 3/17 on takedown attempts just to lose the fifth round because i made one mistake in side control. Outside of predenials and or front kick or sprawl its really hard to stop the single leg to back, it takes you half across the cage. Then you need to be wary of the takedown or back clinch, some players just drive you to the cage. This isnt an issue on its own until you add all the other takedowns too. Deep singles hardly cost stamina and can be pretty easy to get because of their huge range. You combine this with all of the turning takedowns that the meta against certain players is just defending takedowns for 5 rounds.
Dont get me wrong, it still takes skill because you need to mix up your timing and survive pressure, but it is really forgiving right now. And the meta for striking is so built on capitalizing on momentum that its one of the few effective options to stop really good pressure fighters.
